The Luxe Euphoria by California exotics is designed to be a clitoral stimulator for women. It is not really meant to be inserted and even if you do insert this toy it won't be very satisfying to most because it's just too short and not powerful enough.

As an external vibrator men and women both can get use out of this toy. Just let your partner tease you by running it over your nipples, clitoris, perineum, outer anal area, scrotum, penis or wherever you may have an erogenous zone. Be sure to sterilize this toy before sharing and before switching to outer vaginal use if it's been used on the outer anal area.

Size queens and power hungry folks will most likely not enjoy this toy but beginners and those who need less power in their toys may like it just fine. This toy is small, has a pretty discreet design and is really easy to use and clean making it perfect for first timers or those who just prefer interesting toys.

Although this toy is marketed as waterproof, that's not true at all, the seams around the buttons and where the silicone meets the handle hold water in them and then slowly spits it out while in use. Be careful when cleaning it with soap and water and do NOT submerge this toy in the bath tub, it may ruin the motor or worse.

This small sized toy is great for partner play or teasing your partner's erogenous zones. It may be difficult to hang on to this during penetrative sex but it's great for solo sessions when paired with a penetrative vibrator or dildo.

The Luxe Euphoria is made from silicone on the part that contacts the body and the handle is PU coated plastic with plastic accents. Silicone has a 10 out of 10 safety rating on the Eden materials safety scale which means it is non-porous. It is also food-grade material, hypo-allergenic, latex free and phthalates free and feels very smooth and soft. It does have a little drag to it so using some water based lubricant will be necessary to get it to glide along more smoothly. Do NOT use silicone lubricant with silicone toys unless you know for sure it's safe or you will risk degrading and ruining your toys.

PU coated plastic has a safety rating of 7 out of 10 on the Eden materials safety scale meaning it is somewhat porous but it is phthalates free. The plastic accents have an 8 out of 10 safety rating and it is non-porous while also being phthalates free. Being that the plastic is the handle, battery compartment and the silver accent ring that separates the silicone from the handle it shouldn't be a big deal. It's still easy to clean as long as it's not submerged in water.

The entire toy feels smooth to the touch and there is really no odor to it at all but it does pick up lint, hair and fuzzballs like crazy. Make sure you wipe it down before use and store it in a bag or something similar to keep all the fuzz off of it while in storage.

This toy has a very dolphin-shaped head to it in that there is a longer, rounded nose tip that comes off of a bigger rounded head shape. This isn't a very large toy at 5" long and 1 1/2" in diameter at the widest points. It is very ergonomically shaped, meaning that when it is held in your hand it curves to naturally line up with your clitoris at the rounded "nose" tip. The handle/battery compartment is about 2" in diameter and 3" long from the silver accent ring down to the bottom. The button panel measures just under 1 1/2" long by 5/8" wide.

The silicone and PU coated plastic are black all over with a plastic silver colored accent ring in the middle that separates the two materials. The buttons are built into the button panel which is white and ringed in silver and under the buttons is where the LED indicator light is located. This light shines red when the toy is turned on and will flash in time with the pulsing patterns.

The seams of this toy are not noticed during use since it's not intended for insertion but they do collect fluids (was tested under water).

The Luxe Euphoria is controlled with two buttons that are located on top of the battery compartment just under the silver accent ring that separates the silicone from the plastic handle. There is a power button to turn the toy on/off and there is a pattern button that will cycle through the seven functions.

Just insert the two AAA batteries in the battery compartment by prying open the little plastic door and matching up the + and - sides with the little pictures shown stamped on the plastic. Once inserted, take notice of the rubber ring around the plastic battery compartment door, just replace that plastic door by lining up the notch and clicking it into place.

One push of the power button and the toy is on at a steady low vibration. To cycle through the other vibration levels and patterns you must push the pattern button. There is no way to turn the intensity level down or to cycle down through the patterns, you have to keep pushing the pattern button to get there again.

The seven functions are as follows:

1. Steady low vibration
2. Steady medium vibration
3. Steady high vibration
4. Escalation
5. Slow pulsation
6. Rapid pulsation
7. 4 rapid pulses and one long pulse

All the patterns are executed at the highest vibration setting which isn't over the top powerful and quite buzzy. While on the highest setting this toy would not be heard through a closed door but most likely would be heard through blankets so dorm use is up to your discretion. Just remember to be careful while washing it and do NOT use this submerged, it is not completely waterproof. Also, the controls are not lockable for travel so make sure you remove the batteries prior to packing this toy away to avoid vibrating luggage.

This is marketed as waterproof but it really isn't. To best clean this toy wipe it down with a toy wipe or carefully wash it with soap and warm water. Do NOT submerge this toy in water to wash it, the seams and battery compartment will become water logged. To sterilize this toy you can wipe it down with a 10% bleach solution, just be sure to thoroughly clean that off afterwards to make sure you don't go introducing harsh chemicals to your sensitive body areas.

Storing this toy is simple, the box it came in will do just fine if you have the space to use it. If not, you can use a small storage pouch or bag or even an old sock to store this toy. As long as it's covered to protect it from hair and lint this toy would be fine to store along with others.

The Luxe Euphoria came packaged in a plastic box that is mostly see through so not very discreet at all. The front shows the toy through the plastic and gives you a couple details about it while the back gives you more information about the toy in five different languages along with a product registration website. The toy was sitting inside a plastic molded insert inside the box to further protect it from being knocked around.

The packaging is minimal, recyclable and decent for short term storage if you have the space. It should definitely be wrapped if you're giving it as a gift since it's pretty obvious what this is from the packaging. There were no booklets, instructions or warranties included in the packaging but this toy was easy enough to figure out.

Personally I can deal with some buzzy vibrations so this wasn't really a bother for me but this toy just isn't powerful enough to get the job done. When the toy is on high the bulk of the vibrations are felt at the base of the silicone; they just don't travel well enough to the tip to be of much help. The shape of this toy however is a very useful and appreciated feature since it lined up just right for me. Other than that the only complaint left is that this isn't actually waterproof. I don't like the fact that all the seams, including around the button panel, got water in them when I tried submerging this toy in some water. It actually makes me paranoid about using it while wet to be honest, so this will stay away from water as much as possible while in use.
