Key Ceres G

The Ceres G Massager is a beautifully designed vibrator. It is sleek, sexy, and has deep rumbly vibrations. The only drawback is there are no power settings on the vibrations and the small base makes it hard to maneuver. This is a quality piece, but it is fairly expensive for what you get. The moderate vibrations do not make it worth the price tag in my opinion.

Use

The Ceres G has a broad, bulbous head which makes it perfect for G-spotting. It can also be used for clitoral stimulation, but it won't provide pinpoint vibrations. Its vibrations are not very powerful in general, making it a challenge to get off sometimes. Ceres is good for thrusting, although the small base makes maneuvering somewhat difficult. This toy is not recommended for anal use, it does not have a flared base, which makes it unsafe.
The vibrations are most easily felt at the tip of the toy, they get much weaker along the shaft. When handling this toy, I noticed that I could feel vibrations in my fingertips which eventually became uncomfortable and distracting. The vibrations being concentrated along the tip, in combination with the broad head make Ceres ideal for G-spotting. This vibrator doesn't seem to be great for much else.
Ceres is quiet and very discreet, this toy is perfect for users with roommates. It is waterproof, making it safe for use in the tub or shower. It is also very travel friendly. It comes with a sleek drawstring pouch, which makes packing it very easy.

Material / Texture

Ceres is made of food grade silicone, which rates a 10 on the safety scale. It also has an antibacterial property, is hypo-allergenic, completely nonporous, and free of latex and phthalates. Ceres has a very smooth velvety surface, but is still rigid because of the hard plastic underneath. The silicone has a good amount of drag, and I almost always need to use lubricant with this toy. The large broad head is nearly impossible to insert without proper lubrication. It does not have any taste or odor whatsoever. This texture can be used by beginners and advanced users. I would recommend this material above all else because of its stellar safety rating.

Design / Shape / Size

This toy is 7 1/2" long with an insertable length of 5 1/2" which makes it a good size to please most users. The circumference measures 4 3/4" with a diameter of 1 1/2". The broad head makes G-spot stimulation inevitable. It is very easy to use and sure to please. Some users will have problems getting off with this toy, the vibrations are not enough to satisfy advanced users in my opinion.
The design is beautiful, very sleek and elegant. The handle is seriously lacking, this is the downfall of the toy's design for me. It is very small and when wet, it is nearly impossible to maneuver. In appearance, Ceres has all the qualities an expensive vibrator should have. Sadly, lacks power.

Functions / Performance / Controls

Ceres features 7 different vibrational patterns. These consist of High, High 2, Wave, Pulse, Throb, Flutter, and Tease. The motor is located in the tip of the toy, and the vibrations are felt much less along the shaft. The small handle carries the vibrations though, making a user's fingers numb after about 10-15 minutes. Ceres is completely waterproof, and can be used in the tub or shower.
The control pad is located on the underside of the handle. It is a single button which clicks on and through all of the settings in order. To turn Ceres off, just hold the power button down for two seconds. This makes it easy to turn off quickly. Once you turn it back on, it starts at the first setting. Ceres is powered by 2 AA batteries. If the toy is not being used, the batteries should be taken out.

Care and Maintenance

The Ceres G should be washed before and every use. Also, removing the batteries when not in use helps to preserve them. Ceres is made of silicone, and should be used with water based lubricants only. Silicone based lubricant may degrade the surface of the toy.
This toy can be cleaned with warm water and soap or antibacterial toy wipes. Since Ceres G is waterproof, you do not have to worry when rinsing off your toy. I found that sometimes lubricant or fluid would get in between the space between the body of the toy and the twist off battery cap. Make sure not to get water in the battery compartment when cleaning this area. I usually wipe it clean with an Eden wipe after I have finished cleaning the surface.

Packaging

Ceres G arrived in style, the package was sleek and well designed. There is a slider cover which pictures some of the toy along with Hello, Gorgeous...as the tagline. The back of this cover describes the settings in several languages. Underneath the sliding cover is the main box which holds the toy. This is matte black and opens simply like a book. The Ceres is nestled in a plush black foam. Inside of the inner package there is a shiny nylon drawstring pouch for storage, an in depth instruction pamphlet, and warranty. The packaging is some of the best I have seen, it is very high end and would be perfect for a gift. I still have my box and use it to store my Ceres G.

Follow-up commentary
I live my Ceres G, it is great for g-spotting even though it is not the most powerful toy I own. Still use it regularly, and am pleased with a well-designed piece from Jopen.

great review! thanks for this. While you say the vibrations are weak, you list this toy as four vrooms, which is a pretty moderate speed for most, so i was a little confused about that.
