Wing fling - strap-on vibrator by Hustler Toys - review by Waterfall

OVERVIEW/USE
The Wing Fling is a purple strap-on vibrator that is shaped like a bird with open wings that is designed to stimulate your clitoris and labia. The body of the bird is 3 1/2 inches, and the diameter (which includes the wing span) is 3 1/4 inches. The vibrator is worn close to your body and stays in place by putting the elastic straps around your thighs and is controlled with an attached remote. Being a plus sized woman, I had a difficult time getting this one to stay exactly where I wanted it because the elastic straps were a little tight on my upper thighs. However, for those who are not plus sized, this should not be a problem. This also may have been difficult due to the lack of instructions for exactly how to go about wearing it correctly.

MATERIAL
It is made from TPE material that ranks a 6 on the Eden Material Safety Scale. It is porous and can't be steralized. Since the shape of this toy is not conducive to using a condom, it is not safe to share. There is a slight smell with this material, but nothing that compares with rubber or UR3. It should be cleaned before and after use with warm water and soap or toy cleaner and can be used with both silicone and water based lubricants.

FUNCTIONS/PERFORMANCE
The vibrations are controlled with a remote (that operates on 2 AAA batteries) that is attached to the Wing Fling via a long wire. This can be annoying during use because the amount of straps and wires involved make this something that one cannot simply slip on in the dark at night, some patience was necessary the times that I used it. There are 4 speeds of steady vibration that are controlled with "up" and "down" arrows. The first one is very gentle and is hard to feel sometimes, but the 2nd and 3rd speed provide nice stimulation to the clitoris, while the 4th speed is pretty intense and a little uncomfortable when the beak of the bird is on my clitoris. When I held this toy in my hand before use I thought that the vibrations felt pretty good on the body and beak of the bird as well as the wings and I was excited to try it out. There was also not much noise, even when the toy was on the highest setting. I found that because of the way the toy fit me, the body of the bird was too close to my body in use and this prevented the wings from "flapping" as much as it had done in my hand. I was dissapointed in this and tried moving the straps down lower on my thighs but this didnt work because of my body shape. I did enjoy the vibrations when I simply held the bird part on my clitoris and labia and let the beak work at my clitoris.
With these issues aside, the Wing Fling is a pretty fun toy.

Due to my body shape I prefer to use this toy without the straps and I simply hold it in place with my hands. Since it is not heavy or too large this works for me most of the time. With most vibrators that stimulate the clitoris I prefer to use them for warm up before using an insertable toy and the Wing Fling is no different. On occasion I have been able to reach orgasm with this toy, so it is a pretty versatile addition to my collection.
I do enjoy this toy but I am dissapointed that it did not work well with my body (in regards to the fit and the amount of vibration).

Honestly, I do not use this one anymore. It is at the bottom of one of the boxes that I store my toys in. The reason for this is that as I mentioned in my original review, the straps do not fit my body correctly and that makes it so that I have to hold this one in place. That kind of defeats the purpose of the toy and it can be annoying to hold in place for a while, so I stopped using it. This may work better for others who don’t have an issue with the straps fitting, so I wouldn’t say that it is horrible, but it just doesn’t work for me.
