Little Buzzer!

The Little Thumper is a nicely designed bullet that suffers from a poorly planned function controller and a fast, buzzing type motor. If this bullet truly had a deeper vibration like the "Thumper" in the title implies, it would be a winner. As is, it is adequate, at best.

extremely useful review
The Little Thumper bullet|Little thumper is not the worst bullet I have tried, by far; it is actually quite well designed. It is made of hard plastic which is easy to clean and it conducts vibrations nicely. Best of all, the bullet is designed as a full-sized bullet with a protruding “handle” on the top. The handle makes it possible to enjoy the full length of the bullet (though the strongest vibrations are concentrated in the tip), and even to use it for shallow insertion without having to pull on the cord to retrieve it. Yes, there are some very nice features about the Little Thumper.

Why, then, did it leave me ultimately rather indifferent?

The vibrations of the Little Thumper are strong on its highest setting, but they are incredibly fast and not very deep, more of a high-pitched buzzing sensation. So did this toy get me off? Yes. But it was the kind of orgasm brought on strictly because you have something vibrating between your legs--it came and went in a heartbeat and there was no depth or intensity to it. It was the kind of orgasm that left me wanting more, and the Little Thumper’s shallow, fast vibrations were not able to provide more. I finally gave up in frustration.

The Little Thumper is also rather irritating when it comes to the function controls. It runs on 2 AA batteries in a handheld battery pack that looks simple enough to use. There are two buttons--one on/off switch, and another button to scroll though the four functions this vibe offers. The functions are escalating, strong pulsation, high speed, and lower speed. The problem is, they trigger in the order mentioned, so you are not able to start at a lower speed and move to higher speed in order. Fortunately, the high speed was the only one that did anything for me at all, so this was a minor annoyance. I just hate it when vibration patterns are not organized logically, but just kind of jump around.

As previously mentioned, the Little Thumper is made of hard plastic, so cleaning it is easy with soap and water or toy cleaner (there IS a pronounced seam all around the bullet, though; I did not find it irritating, but take extra care when cleaning). This toy cannot be sterilized, however, so please use a condom if sharing. This toy is also incredibly loud on its high setting, and far from silent on even the lower setting.

I will probably eventually give Little Thumper another try, but for now I will stick with the more intense vibrations of my X-Treme Pack G-Spot Bullet|Xtreme pack bullet.

Nice review. At least they got the handle right.

Thanks!  And yeah, the handle's great.  Funny thing is, this vibe might be too much for some people, but was just too shallow a buzz for me.  Heh, sorry, been mourning my experience with this toy all day.

Maybe you should try it with your raquel to get double sensation!!!

Heh, I would, if I thought this would stand up to the Raquel.  Honestly, I think the vibrations are too shallow to transmit well through Raquel.  Now Raquel + Hitachi = a whole other story!

The handle makes this seem like a toy worth looking into, but if it doesn't deliver on the vibrations, then forget about it. Another great review, DD!

Thanks again, Jimbo!  This one does have strong vibrations, just not deep vibrations.  It's a matter of taste, I guess.

Such a shame. The shape reminds me of a baseball bat or a chicken leg, though.

Or a bowling pin. But yeah, this one comes sooo close to the mark!
