Small, multi-functional, and powerful

The Little Thumper is worth it if you are looking for something small and easy to use, and only want something for clitoral pleasure. While the Little Thumper is multi-functional, it doesn't make for a mind-blowing unique orgasm, just a satisfying and comfortable one. Couples could have a lot of fun with this as a teasing and foreplay toy.

Use

The Little Thumper lives up to its name. The design is sleek and compact, allowing for easy storage and grip, but it packs quite a bit of power for its small size. It is made for external clitoral stimulation, but you can move it around and let the vibrations excite other places like the nipples and anus, though not to insert anywhere. The multi-function feature of the Little Thumper makes it a novel experience and a lot of fun to experiment with. I found that the best way for me to start out is to begin with the escalating vibration function. The speed slowly builds up and just when you are starting to pant, starting to feel good, it stops, only to repeat over and over again. It is such a delicious tease. I let my boyfriend use it on me, too, and he did not have any trouble finding the right spot with it. Great for solo and couple play.

Material / Texture

The Little Thumper is made of a smooth, hard plastic. The surface is non-porous and sleek, so it feels really good and slippery when you cover it in lube or get it wet yourself moving it around. The smoothness of the plastic also helps make cleaning it up a breeze. All you have to do is clean it with some hot water and antibacterial soap or alcohol. However, since the toy is a very hard plastic, it would be wise to caution against pressing too hard.

Design / Shape / Size

I love the small size of the Little Thumper. With one hand you hold the stimulation wand, and in the other the control panel with just a short chord connecting the two pieces. The small size of the wand makes it perfect to slide around to tease other areas, and the shape curves in and then bulbs out to maximize the area of contact while still giving you a small piece to hold on to. Definitely a good toy for both beginners and advanced users.

Functions / Performance / Controls

There are two pieces connected via wire: wand and control panel. The wand is very powerful and the entire bulb of it goes crazy with a fast, hard vibration when you turn it on to even the lowest setting. Since there are only two buttons on the control panel, you won't find yourself fumbling to find the right one in the heat of a moment you would rather not be distracted from. However, all of the functions are set by the same button, so you have to press through a number of times to get some of the functions to work, which makes moving between them a little difficult. In the heat of the moment, you'd like to just pick your groove and go at it, but having to rapidly press between functions is a bit distracting. But the Little Thumper is easy to use and that is a plus for those gloriously climactic moments when your head just isn't focused.

There is not too great a difference between the slow speed and a the high speed; because of the power of the Little Thumper, they are both high speeds. The pulsating speed is nothing special. The escalating function, though, is mind numbingly wonderful to start out and tease with.

But a word of warning. The Little Thumper is very loud. If you have thin walls or roommates, take that into consideration.

Care and Maintenance

The Little Thumper is exceptionally easy to care for. The plastic it is made out of is simple to wipe off and clean. You can use any lube you want because the material is non-porous. The small size makes the toy readily stashed in a drawer or in a sock to keep out of prying eyes and hands. It's like a delicious little secret stuck in a bedside table drawer.

Personal comments

This was my very first experience with a clitoral stimulator. I wanted something simple, yet at the same time came with enough features to be worth the money I was going to pay. I was not disappointed with the Little Thumper. It is not overly complicated, but isn't weak or boring to use. For such a little thing, it's quite strong.

Experience

I played around with speeds and functions for a while, letting my body get accustomed to the Little Thumper. When I found it, it was amazing. You see, I set it to escalating and let it tease me by getting me right to the point of pleasure before it stops. Each round of this, the sensation is stronger and more desperate to be released. I love to do this for a while, until I can't hold out anymore. Then, when I am ready to climax, I put it on high speed and go for it. There is a slow speed and a hard speed, so you can select the one that is most comfortable for you, or the one that gets you off best. Like I said, it's powerful. Though it's nothing special as far as orgasm goes. I have just as good an orgasm using my regular vibrator on my clit.

Good review, I was just wondering what would you suggest cleaning it with?
  • Contributor: Ms. Asphyxia
I just take it to the sink and clean it with hot water and antibacterial soap. Then I dry it with a clean cloth and stash it away. Since it's made of hard plastic, it doesn't have the sort of material restrictions that some other toys would have. You just have to be sure to kill all possible germs and wipe off any stuff left behind after use. I find using water and soap better than alcohol.
