This vibrator is very bright and purple with a bird attached as the clitoral stimulator, but due to the size and strong vibrations, I wouldn't recommend it for a beginner.

The vibrator works best when stimulating the clitoris and the strong vibrations of the attached bird are enough to make anyone look forward to using this toy! The actual shaft rotates and is great for getting that full feeling, but again, the size could be a little intimidating for beginners.

As the toy has strong vibrations, it's pretty loud! I personally wouldn't use it when I thought someone might be in the next room over and might hear (and be jealous of!) my fun with the PowerGem.

The vibrator is made of jelly which feels great, but isn't made for sharing! The shaft ends in a textured head which feels great once inserted, but can be a bit tricky without proper lubrication. The shaft also has beads which rotate and add extra stimulation.

Again, the size of this toy can be a little intimidating, so save this purchase for experienced users. The shaft is 10 inches long (6 inches are insertable) and the circumference of the shaft is just a bit under 5 inches, which is also quite large.

One complaint I do have is the lack of settings - there are two settings for vibrations and there isn't much of an in-between. The low is fairly low, but the high is very very strong and sometimes a little overwhelming. Once you figure out what works for you, you can decide what combination of rotation (it goes both directions) and vibration you prefer.

The large size of the toy is not made to be discreet and I would definitely recommend storing this in a case unless you want it to be noticed. One glance at the toy and anyone will know exactly what it is!

The controls are located at the base of the toy and work by pressing the buttons. One setting turns the rotation on/off, another controls the direction of the rotation, one turns the bird vibration on/off, and the last controls the strength of vibrations. I've often hit the wrong button and gotten a little upset and had to "pause" to change the settings back to my preference.

Overall, the toy has very strong vibrations and that is the main reason I purchased the toy. As for what I don't like or don't care for as much: it's not waterproof, the clit stimulator vibrations can be a bit strong, and there is no real vibration in the shaft area. While the toy is loud, it does operate on 4 AA batteries (inserted at the base), so that should be expected a bit. I recommend removing the batteries between uses as I've accidentally bumped a button and have a feeling this could happen during storage.

Cleaning is very easy - I just wash the toy in the sink with toy cleaner and store it in a case to prevent dust and lint from sticking to the jelly material. Since the toy is not waterproof, you do need to be careful when cleaning with water.
