Rechargeable beaded dolphin - g-spot rabbit vibrator discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by Miss B Haven

The Rechargeable Beaded Dolphin is a wonderful dual stimulating vibrator best suited for users who enjoy lots of power in a slightly bigger package. It has a unique head that resembles three ocean waves and a clitoral stimulator in the shape of a dolphin. The shaft's top is perfectly curved to hit your g-spot while the dolphin is large enough the reach just about anyone’s clitoral sweet spot. I was expecting this toy to be quiet and flexible similar to other rabbit-like toys I have tried, but it is much louder and the dolphin doesn’t give much play making the opening between it and the shaft pretty narrow.

When taking it out of the box upon its arrival there were no instructions as to how long the first charge needed to be, only that the toy would last for up to 75 minutes of use on a full charge. After cleaning the jelly parts of the toy and setting up the charging base I connected the two and noticed a red and green light flashing. On the box I was able to find a section that read a green light means the toy is fully charged and a red light means it needs to be charged. But you don’t know the charging status until you connect the dolphin to its charging base.

When I first opened the box I got the usual strong scent that comes from any jelly product. It was sticky to the touch and was a dust, feather, hair, basically anything that can float on air magnet, again fairly typical of jelly material. The shaft was nicely textured with a wave-like design that makes for an nice ribbed/nubby like feel. That same design wraps around the ball bearings which provides a lot of sensation even on the lowest setting. I don’t recommend this dolphin for beginning users unless you are sure you enjoy heavy vibrations and a thicker shaft with a strong rotation.

I love the design of this vibrator! The waves are fun and run most of the length of the shaft giving a pleasurable sensation and the dolphin is a great match with its larger shape. Compared to the photos available on the web it became clear that there is a little color variation. The photos show a darker purple base and stand when really it is a very pretty purple color that is lighter than the jelly part of the toy.

I was surprised at the thickness of the shaft, but it gave a wonderful full feeling without being painful and the curve hit my g-spot perfectly. A little tip though, the rotations can be strong enough to rub your g-spot raw, so start on the lowest even if you know you prefer a lot of stimulation just to be on the safe side.

Being a rechargeable product and having such a large bullet in the dolphin don’t let you have a lot of privacy with your toy. At best I can hide mine on its base to recharge in my powder room behind my magnifying mirror. I wouldn’t try to hide this toy in a bathroom that has a shower or bathtub in it simply because of the risk of steam settling into the electronic components.

I would be tempted to pack this toy with me if I were going on a longer vacation because you don’t need to travel with extra batteries. As far as the noise, I think as long as the TV is playing I don’t think the people next door will be able to hear your dolphin's actions.

This dolphin offers three speeds of shaft rotation and three speeds of vibration, all of which were very powerful and intense! The dolphin itself is intended for clitoral stimulation and does not disappoint with its full sized inner bullet, even at its lowest setting. The vibrations resonate only from the dolphin’s bullet but the intensity of the vibrations are so powerful they go all the way to the top of the shaft and you can feel them even though it is thicker than the average rabbit vibe. The shaft head is a nice change from the more traditional shaped heads to this new three-wave shaped one. You can push it in deep and feel all three ridges or just until the first ridge hits your g-spot, either way it’s an amazing feeling!

I was a little disappointed to have such a wonderful rabbit vibrator with so much power and the great recharge feature that was, again, made from jelly material. I would really like to see more high-end vibes like this made from safer material. The controls were very easy to use, they almost could be considered light-touch control buttons since you barely need any push to change your settings. They are not flimsy though which is nice that you don’t need to worry about your finger accidently running over the controls and changing your settings right as your beginning to get into a groove.

Because of the intensity of the functions on this product it is pretty noisy even on the first settings. If you have a roommate or any guests visiting make sure you turn on the radio and shut the door to your play area unless you want to answer questions about your doings. Also be advised that even though this toy has a cute dolphin and is adorned with waves it is NOT waterproof.

Please be careful with the care and maintenance of this product. Jelly is known for being a collector of all things that can float through air or rest on surfaces and with the unique wave design on this toy there are a lot of places for bacteria to hide, especially where the dolphin connects to the shaft. The dolphin doesn’t pull away from the shaft as far as other rabbit toys so you should pay close attention to this connected area in particular.

Jelly material cannot be sterilized by boiling and a vibrator or any toy with electrical parts should never be put in the dishwasher. The best way to care for this beautiful toy is by thoroughly cleaning it with soap and warm water or use an anti-bacterial toy cleaner. Whichever method you choose to clean your toy be careful of splashing soapy water or over-spraying toy cleaner onto the base of your dolphin. Since it is rechargeable it has little electrical points at the very bottom and the controls are not waterproof.

Also this toy should not be shared unless you use a condom over both the shaft and the dolphin. You can use either your favorite water or silicone based lubricants with this toy. A side note, the very first time I played with my dolphin I kept drying out no matter which lube I used. My second use I over lubed anticipating the drying spells. After that I could use either lube in a reasonable amount and had no dry spells or irritation. For storage , I like to keep my dolphin in a padded sack that has a silky interior (to try to minimize the amount of fuzzies that end up on it), keeping the chargeable parts separate from the toy itself so the jelly doesn’t get damaged.

My dolphin came packaged in a busy looking box with a clear window so you can see the toy. It gave me a basic description of the toy and the contents of the box but it didn’t come with any instruction manual. I didn’t find it hard to figure out how to charge and use it though. There is a small white arrow on the toy’s base that you line up with a similar arrow on the rechargeable section. As long as you lineup the arrows together, and I do mean point to point or it doesn’t charge correctly, you shouldn’t have any issues.

I was very excited to give this dolphin a try. It is my first rechargeable toy and I was jittery with the thought of how much I was going to save in batteries and I was right. It charges quickly, only about 40 minutes or so for a full charge, and lasted for at least an hour on medium settings. The dolphin had plenty of power left in it but I was out of juice.

The vibrations were noticeable enough to catch my husband’s attention from the next room so he came in to join me. He said he was very turned on to watch me quiver with the vibrations and said he could tell every time the shaft hit my g-spot because I would give a little jump. We enjoy having sex together but we rarely masturbate together because he doesn’t hear me playing with my other toys. This is definitely one case where a louder noise factor worked out for the both of us.
