L’Amour Tripler - rabbit vibrator by Cal Exotics - review by Jobthingy

USE:

The L'amour Tripler by California Exotics is a typical rabbit style vibrator, with a twist. Sure it rotates about in a lovely circular motion and vibrates at the tip of the arm for the perfect combination of internal and external pleasure like most of the other rabbits out there, but this one is made of body safe silicone and is waterproof.

The arm can act as a stopper if rotation in your anal play is something you would like to try and it can be shared if a proper cleaning takes place between uses.



MATERIAL/TEXTURE/DESIGN/SHAPE:

The Tripler comes in at a total of 9 inches long with an insertable length of 5 inches. At its widest point it is 1.25 inches across. The clitoral arm has 2 long ears and a smaller half size ear (nose? horn? tooth?)just below them. It is made of smooth silicone that has some drag so some water based lube may be needed to help ease the process. The silicone (like all silicone) collects dust and animal hair so give it a rinse before use.

The handle is made of plastic and the buttons are backlighted in blue so you can see what you are doing in the dark. The battery compartment seals tight with a quick turn and the 3 AAA batteries are housed in a little pack so you can easily take them out.

FUNCTIONS:

There are 3 buttons on the handle portion of the toy. First is a dedicated power switch, second is a vibration button (indicated by a wavy line) and third is a rotation button (indicated by a roundabout arrow). At anytime during use, you can click the power button to turn the toy off. There is no memory though so you will have to reset it to your favorite combination.

The rotation has 3 speeds and only goes counter clockwise. It is strong and when I hold the shaft with all my force it slows down but does not stop.

The clitoral arm boasts 7 vibration modes. Low, medium, high, followed by pulse, a sort of shimmy from low to medium with a quick high pulse, quick pulse, and finally 3 short pulses followed by 1 long. The vibrations are more on the buzzy side.

The power does not diminish when using both motors at the same time. Of course, having 2 motors going at the same time can get a bit noisy. Keep the door closed and under the blanket if you are concerned someone may hear you.

CARE AND STORAGE:

Being silicone and waterproof, clean up is simple. Wash it down with soap and warm water, your favorite toy cleaner or give it a good thorough cleaning with a 10% bleach solution. Just don't boil it. You can ruin the motor and really, what fun is a motorless rabbit. There are no ridges along the shaft where anything can get stuck but do pay close attention to the spot where the shaft and the clitoral arm meet as well as between the 3 small ears.

You can choose to store it in its original box which is just a standard plastic box, a large ziploc bag, or just toss it in with the rest of your silicone toys like I do. Just keep it away from other materials that could possibly melt into it.

HOW DID IT WORK?

The fit for me was good. Power was decent. But the ears are very pokey. Like really annoyingly pokey. Like this bunny was biting me with sharp little fangs. I almost got up half way through my session with it to hack off the pointy ends of the ears/teeth. I didn't though. I fought through. It left me numb and tender. Perhaps I am overly sensitive. I am planning on surgically enhancing it after this review.
