Petite thumper - rabbit vibrator discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by Jobthingy

Ah the rabbit vibrator. So many want to use it, so many can't. Often times they are just made too big to make any proper contact with a woman's clitoris while inserted. Either they don't meet at all of they hit over it which makes for that awkward angling to try and make it work.

The L'Amour Petite Thumper is a smaller, more slender take on the rabbit. It boasts 3 speeds of counter clockwise rotation in the shaft, and 7 vibration modes in the clitoral arm. The vibration modes are 3 solid vibrations (low, medium and high), a slow pulse, pulsing escalation, a faster pulse (not super quick but faster then the first), and then the 3 short one long pulse. All of the pulses happen on the highest setting of the vibration. The vibrations are on the rumbly side of the scale but with enough buzz that you can go numb after long periods of use.



It has a total length of 8.25 inches with an insertable length of 4 inches. At its widest point, it is 4 inches around (or 1.25 in diameter). The clitoral arm is 2 inches long (including the ears) and the vibrations carry very well right into the very tip of the ears. In the shaft there are 6 rows of beads. Each row holds 5 beads total. Because they are not loose, there is no fear of them jamming up. The rotation is strong, but if you squeeze too hard you can slow them down quite a bit. I personally have not gotten them to stop completely during use, but I am sure someone could.



The insertable portion of this toy is 100% silicone with a hard plastic handle. 3 AAA batteries power it and they are housed in a little holder that fits in the base of the toy. It has a dedicated power switch, a vibration button and a rotation button. I find it rather loud so the power switch can come in handy if you have to turn it off in a hurry. Both the vibration and rotation button cycle through their respective modes. You cannot go backwards.

Being waterproof, this toy is easily cleaned with warm soapy water, your favorite toy cleaner or a 10% bleach solution. You can also have some great water fun with it. The plastic box it comes in is rather big and you can see the toy right through it so if discretion is what you are looking for, I would find a lint free bag to store it in.

This one, for me, just did not work. The rabbit would not hit my clit no matter how hard I tried. I seem to be in that mass with a large distance. I really wanted it to work because the power was just right. For the right person, this could totally work. As with all rabbits, it is usually hit or miss.

For visual, I put it beside the L'Amour Tripler that I have here. Thankfully, the Thumper didn't bite like the Tripler did to me.
