Hot Fire is a fairly standard vibrator. Made of medical grade silicone, it boasts seven different variations of vibration. All told, the variable vibration is the stand-out feature on this vibe.
The packaging is very basic and simple and offers very little information about the toy.
The toy takes two AAA batteries and has a simple push button control located at the base of the cap. There are two buttons: one for on/off control, and the other for cycling through the speeds and functions. Also on the cap is a little LED light that changes from red to green in time to the variable functions. The first functions are three different vibration speeds. The other four are variations of pulsating and escalating. The buttons are what I call "clickers", meaning they actually "click" when you push them hard. As a result, working the buttons with fingers slick from lube or juices can be a bit difficult.
The battery cap screws on securely and has a little o-ring to keep moisture out. The waterproof claims on the package are completely true. I was able to fully submerge the Hot Fire vibe and found no moisture in the battery case afterward.
The body of the vibe is actually kind of cute. It is a soft silicone, cherry red in color, with a cute little face at the slightly bulbous tip and elongated teardrop-shaped "arms" along the sides. The eyes, mouth and arms are all slightly raised, but not overly so. It looks sort of like a smiling torpedo to me. It is smooth in texture and easy to clean. The vibrations feel strongest at the tip; however I must add that the vibrations, even at their highest level, are not very strong. The whole toy is only slightly longer than my hand (base of palm to fingertips), and is fairly modest in girth.

Experience
Personally, I find this to be very basic, and for some that might be just the ticket. My vibration preferences exceed what this vibe was able to offer, and I ended up using it mostly for additional stimulation during doggie-style sex with my partner.
