Dial-a-dream # 94 - g-spot vibrator by Doc Johnson - review by Airen Wolf

I am a sucker for a purple toy, and one that looks like it has a heart shaped top is sure to catch my eye! It was irresistable on sale, for the price I couldn't afford to pass this up.

This particular Doc Johnson product featured a redesigned dial control and some pretty wonderful body safe materials. It is made of soft and comfortable TPR Silicone and has some great give in the shaft of the toy. Though it is made of TPR Silicone it didn't pass the silicone lube patch test I did on an inconspicuous spot so I am comfortable recommending water based lube only be used with this toy.
This toy passed the splash proof test with flying colors, after the initial wash the battery housing was bone dry.
The Dial a Dream measures in at 8 inches in total length with 7 of those inches being insertable. Despite being such a long toy it is so soft and flexible that it is very hard to bruise the cervix or vaginal barrel even with vigorous thrusting.

This is a fairly slender toy measuring only 4 1/2 inches at it's widest so it's not intimidating. The interesting heart feature at the head of the toy makes up for the lack of girth for this size queen. The toy is a joy to clench around and makes working those PC muscles actually fun.
The vibrations are concentrated in the tip of the toy through the heart shaped feature but also radiate through the rest of the toy easily though less intensely. The tip of the toy is great for pinpoint clitoral stimulation. The vibrations are fairly high pitched and buzzy but can be easily customized to your exact preference with the redesigned dial. It moves easily if you have lube slick fingers but can't easily be hit during play, possibly changing the intensity of the vibration at the worst possible time. While high pitched the vibrations are very quiet and cannot be heard through a closed door.

The top to the battery casing screws on and off and is where the dial is located. The threads are very easy to realign after the 2 AAA batteries have been placed inside. There isn't a clearly labeled battery placement included so you will have to play around with them a bit as one battery must be positive down with the other positive up. The lid needs to be screwed on tightly afterwards to get the toy to turn on. The upside is that the toy is completely waterproof!

This toy is great for stimulating the nipples, labia, clitoris, penis, scrotum, taint and anal rim. This isn't an anal toy and has no flaring base or any place were the anal ring can rest. It is too soft for prostate stimulation. It is also TPR Silicone and therefore slightly porous.

The Dial a Dream is easily kept clean with a mild soap and water wash both before and after use, or a commercial toy cleaner. If you share your toys a condom will prolong the useful life of the toy and doesn't seem to interfere with the toy's features. It does have a slight fragrance and slightly bitter taste. The smell is very, very light and reminds me of cinnamon rolls!

It arrives securely snuggled in a molded plastic tray and lightweight, clear plastic box. This showcases the toy beautifully! The box is decorated in light blue curlicues that seem to be the norm for Doc Johnson products now, which suits me just fine.

I love the fact that this toy is fairly body safe and yet soft to the touch. It did get tacky in the patch test area after I applied some silicone lube which was a bummer but the toy is very smooth so it doesn't need a whole bunch of lube. Water based lube works great with it and cleans off so easily. There aren't any design features that trap lube or body fluids. This toy is a bit too flexible to apply pressure to the G spot but if you like vibration on your spot the larger side of the heart feature can deliver that in spades. Even with heavy thrusting this toy didn't cause my cervix any discomfort and it works well as a Kegel exerciser. All in all a great toy!

This little guy has vibrated his way into my heart. I love the shape and flexibility of the shaft. The vibrations are just the right blend of power and buzz. My Dial-a-Dream never leaves me numb or wondering when the pleasure is supposed to start. For a traditional vibrator this one is a solid win.
