Dial-a-dream # 94 - g-spot vibrator by Doc Johnson - review by shanner

Very Nice

If you enjoy G-spot and/or deep vaginal stimulation, this could be a really great product for you. If you already have another vibrator you love that's doing the job, it may be redundant.
Very good product that "hits the spot," great price
Lack of instruction, dial not well-made
Rating by reviewer:
extremely useful review

I put a lot of thought into choosing a new vibrator for myself, and originally picked out the Lia lover i 10. I was starting to enjoy it for the first time when it quit on me--I'm not sure if this was a fluke or a bad product.

I finally returned the product and decided, due to my disappointment, to trade it in for another (for the record, I found EdenFantasys's customer service very kind, and their return/exchange policy seems to be excellent). This Dial-a-Dream was on their Summer Clearance special for $14.39, and after reading about it and comparing many ratings and reviews, I finally decided on it.

I had trouble when I first opened this, as it had no instructions that I could find as to which way the batteries should be installed (for the record, one goes up, and one down). Also, the dial is a little hard to turn (especially with one hand), and it seems, due to its texture (sort of rubbery), grime would easily build up on it. Plus, I noticed that, if you turn the battery compartment around all the way, it comes off.

Other than these small issues, I thought this was wonderful. I saw a couple of other reviewers say this was pretty basic, but I liked this better than the $120+ Eroscillator I have. I used it with the Bedroom Kandi Sliquid lubricant. It definitely hit my G-spot, and I had an orgasm within seconds. I don't usually masturbate on a regular basis (not because I don't enjoy it), but this made me want to do so more often. It really seemed to "fill me up," which is a definite plus to me.

It says on the box that it is "multispeed," but it doesn't specify how many speeds exactly. I had trouble telling how many there were for sure - there was a difference between them, but cycling through and comparing back it was a little hard to tell. I think there were maybe 4-5.

Material / Texture

This had a nice texture. I noticed with the last silicone toy I tried (the Lia lover i 10) that it seemed to be a bit rough, but I didn't have that issue with this. It didn't have any smell at all that I noticed. It was somewhat flexible.

It did have a seam from the mold, but I didn't feel this at all - it was pretty flat.

I noticed when I was carrying it that the surface is not completely smooth - it almost is, but has some (almost flat) dips in the silicone. I don't think this is an issue, but I thought I would mention it.

Design / Shape / Size

I loved the size of the Dial-a-Dream. I specifically looked for something that was longer than most of the vibrators on the website, as I enjoy deep vaginal stimulation. I wasn't particularly looking for something "huge" though. This fit the bill, at 8" in length with 7" insertable; it is 4 1/2" in circumference (1 1/2" in diameter). It weighs 6.5 oz.

I think this would be great for beginners, as it's not very hard to use at all. However, this is not at all discreet. I think it would fit in a suitcase pretty easily though.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The vibrations here were not earth-shattering, but they did the trick for me. Going from one level of vibration to the next did switch things up nicely.

This was fairly quiet, I think; the noise was not bothersome at all to me, and I don't think it could be heard through most doors.

I have not tested this in the water, though it's meant to be waterproof.
    • Discreet sound
    • Easy to use
    • Not discreet at all

Care and Maintenance

I found this very easy to clean with just soap and water.

So far, I'm storing it in the box it came in.

As this is a silicone toy, do make sure you use it with a water-based lube.
    • Easy to clean

This came in a slide-out blister pack. It has a warranty but no instructions. This I did not like.

I am using the box to store this, at least for now.

Er, that should say "drips", not "dips". I tried to make sure I didn't have any typos but missed that one.
