Not Exactly Supersex Bullet Vibe

As far as bullet vibes go, if you're looking for more intense vibrations, I'd opt for the only mildly more-expensive Jimmyjane Iconic Bullet. However, the impressive length of this product makes it fairly unique, and if you're a fan of bullet vibes, it's definitely seems like it's worth adding to your collection.

Use

While the Supersex Bullet Vibe was my cunt's very first encounter with a bullet-style vibrator, I've come into contact with enough bullet-style vibrators while shopping at sex toy stores to know that as far as bullets go, the Supersex is on the rather large side. It's long enough that you can use it for light penetration, but I wouldn't recommend inserting it beyond the plastic divider, which is about two and a half inches from the tip. The Supersex Bullet doesn't have a flared base, which means that it's absolutely not safe for anal insertion. It's definitely safe for nipple stimulation, but you're probably better off using vibrating nipple clamps, which are much more appropriately shaped and/or textured for that kind of play.

You can easily slide the Supersex between your labia and put on a tight pair of underwear for on-the go stimulation, though it's probably best to limit this to moving around the kitchen, as opposed to, say a trip to the grocery store, since the Supersex is rather loud for a bullet vibe. As far as clitoral stimulation goes, Supersex is somehow simultaneously too intense and not intense enough. Personally, I thought that the Supersex Bullet worked best on my clit when I moved it around - it's a great way to relieve tired fingers on those days when you just can't seem to get off. I would also definitely recommend the Supersex bullet to anyone who feels nervous about incorporating sex toys into partner play. The Supersex bullet is cute and about as far from intimidating as you can get, when it comes to sex toys.

Though the Supersex may push the size boundaries of most bullet vibes, at the end of the day, it's still small enough to throw inside your tiniest clutch purse and take out on the town without a second thought.

Material / Texture

The Supersex Bullet Vibe is made of lightweight, smooth, hard plastic. It has a glossy finish, that becomes very slick when coated with lube. According to the product information, the plastic is food grade, and free of both phthalates and latex. There is a rubber ring that seals the two halves of the bullet, and the power button at the top is made of some sort of soft, squishy material. When it comes to clitoral stimulation, the plastic might be too hard for some users, in which case I would suggest shelling out a few more bucks to get one of the more luxurious, silicone bullet vibes.

Design / Shape / Size

I thought that the Supersex Bullet was very cute, and I really liked that it was larger than most bullet vibes (slightly longer than 3 inches)because the extra inch and a half made it possible to use this bullet for penetration. According to Lovehoney, who manufacture the Supersex bullet, the insertable length is 2.5 inches. I really only ever get about an inch and a half inside of me though, because I prefer to have a firm grasp on it so that I can apply pressure. Despite being on the large side for a bullet vibe, Supersex was still tiny enough to transport almost anywhere.

As far as shape goes, this vibrator is slightly thinner (in addition to being slightly longer) than your average tube of chapstick. The tip is pretty flat, but unlike a tube of chapstick, it's rounded at the edges. There's a very small circular depression at the tip - I'm not really sure why it's there, but I don't really notice it when I'm using the bullet.

Easy to transport, easy to hold, and easy to hide, this bullet gets an A+ for design, shape, and size. The power button takes a decent amount of pressure to turn on and off, so you don't have to worry about accidentally turning it on when you rummage around in your purse either.

Functions / Performance / Controls

Like most bullet vibes, the Supersex Bullet has an on/off button, and that's it. While it might take a little while to get off with this vibe, it certainly doesn't take any time at all to figure out how to use it once you've taken it out of the box. According to the packaging, the Supersex Bullet is waterproof, but after destroying a very expensive and highly rated water-proof vibrator (the Fun Factory Gigolo), I've decided that I don't like the idea of risking my sex toys, and refuse to take anything requiring batteries or electrical power into the shower. One thing that is an issue with this bullet is that it takes N1 batteries, which I hadn't even known existed until I got this toy. While the Supersex Bullet comes with two N1 batteries (and only requires one to function) I've already burned through the first N1 battery after a little over a week's worth of play. I'm not really looking forward to making a special trip to the hardware store just so that I can go back to using this toy. It's also pretty loud for something so small - this is definitely due to the fact that the Supersex is made out of hard, lightweight plastic, which the tiny battery rattles around in, because it's impossible to make very snug vibrators if you have to slide the battery in and out of them (as opposed to say, the cone vibrator, where you snap the batteries into place, and so they fit very snugly).

Care and Maintenance

This toy is compatible with all types of lube - silicone, water, and oil based. It's very easy to clean the Supersex Bullet Vibe. Antibacterial soap is a good choice, though I'm always afraid that I'll get the inside of my bullet wet accidentally, and so I prefer to use After-Glo antibacterial wipes, which are specially designed for use with sex toys. At a little over three inches tall, it's small enough to store in a lipstick case, and that's where mine is currently being kept. If, for some reason, you felt like it, you could probably slip a finger cot over this vibrator, though I'm not sure why you would want to, since hard plastic is non-porous.

Packaging

The Supersex Bullet Vibe came in a plastic case (make sure you have heavy duty scissors handy when you decide to unwrap your sex toy!) with a very classy cardboard insert - more along the lines of girly elegance than skeevy roadside sex store. It's designed by sex author "Tracey Cox" and the insert is as much of an advertisement of Tracey as it is of the bullet vibe. The vibrator's name, "Supersex" actually comes from one of her bestselling books. It's nice that the packaging includes not one, but two N1 batteries, so you can use it right off the bat, and you've got a week or so of fairly frequent play before you'll have to haul yourself to the hardware store to replace them.

Personal comments

The Supersex Bullet Vibe was my first-ever bullet vibrator, and while I honestly can't decide how I feel about bullet vibes in general, I do know that this particular bullet vibe mostly appeals to me for aesthetic and practical reasons. Forget super sex - when it comes to this bullet, the most I can say is that if I try really hard, I can get off with it. Still, it was cute, and it was light weight, and it worked well enough that I can't honestly say that I'm disappointed with it - I'm just not exactly impressed.

Experience

This vibe isn't really very good at getting me off on it's own - I have to press it against my clit and move it around in circles to get the kind of stimulation that I need in order to get off. While I do like buzz-type vibrations and hard plastic, the vibrations from the Supersex bullet were too light and too fast - I prefer the heavier-weight buzz of my now-defunct, first-generation ohmibod vibrator (sadly, I got water inside the battery chamber and it was never the same).

Great review, I've tried a few supersex items and found most of them lacking. I did however enjoy their bondage tape.

Great review! Sounds like a good average priced product.

I detected that mine came with a weak N1 battery to begin with. Of course I thought it was the vibe, a replacement battery gave it much more power and satisfaction for me. I don't keep a stash of N1 batteries.(available at Walmart)
I love the length of this as it gives me something to hold on to and direct.
For me just a drop of lube does it or even no lube at all.
