Precious metal gems vibrator - traditional vibrator discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by Shayne

This is a standard (bling-ed out) vibrator. It's waterproof so it's great for use in the shower, also! You can use this for clitoral stimulation or insertion, or whatever you feel like, really. I wouldn't recommend this anally, because there isn't a wide base.

This vibrator is actually pretty - the gold is really super shiny (it's ABS with Metallic Cote, for the record); it's hard plastic and is smooth to the touch. I think it's good for anyone, even beginners, since it's versatile. I've even used it as a shoulder massager! The end isn't perfectly rounded, which makes pinpointing sensitive areas easy.

This vibe is over the top, visually, and the gem on the bottom adds to that. The only thing about the gem is that, since it's rounded, it doesn't allow you to stand it up in the shower. The toy is easy enough to hide in a sock drawer or something, but it's pretty much exactly the opposite of discreet, unless you're hiding it in a Lady Gaga costume or something... Then it may be discreet! If it's sitting out, you're gonna know what it is.

The one thing that's not so great about this vibrator is the control on the bottom. It's hard to get a good grip on it, and the rounded gem makes it difficult to turn, especially with lube covered hands. This toy is moderately noisy, but it could be louder. Although it's waterproof, I haven't used it in the water yet, but I washed it in the sink and it's fine.
Edit: This sounds silly, but I took the "made in China" sticker off the base and had an easier time holding on to it. You may want to try that. :)

I use toy cleaner and run it under warm water to clean it. It's pretty easy to care for. The packaging says to use it with water-based lube "for maximum pleasure" so I'm just going to stick with that, but I'm not a fan of silicone lubricant anyway!

The packaging is kinda classy looking-it's just a bunch of gold and white bubbles that says "Precious Metal Gems" on the front. Empty, it could be a box for anything, unless you read the back. There were instructions, but I threw them away, however, they were thorough when I had them. I won't use this as a storage box, but you could very easily, you just wouldn't be hiding anything since it's clear!

After using this a few more times, I really enjoy how versatile it is. I can use it with other toys with ease, or alone. I didn't know where to add this, and I don't know if this is a normal thing with 'traditional' style vibrators or not, but there's a rolled up piece of paper inside the battery housing to "maximize vibrating level while in use." I took it out briefly and I didn't feel a difference, but I guess it could be to keep the batteries from clinking around inside.
