Quite frankly I feel this vibrator is only useful for initial stimulation and play. I had high hopes for the Dolphin, but they all fell short. It does a great job of stimulating the clit, but not much else. This toy would more then likely 'do it' for those who find it easy to orgasm. I personally feel this toy would be best if you are trying to get your partner aroused, or if you're trying to put a little spice in some oral play.

Like most toys, the Dolphin is made out of PVC. That said, its rather smooth and pliable. Oddly enough, the first thing I did when I got this toy was sniff it, since the only other review said it smelled of plastic. Well, they were right. The Dolphin has a very strong plastic odor, though not so much that I wouldn't play with it. All in all, this is a very universal toy, usable by newcomers and veterans alike!

The Dolphin is a very simply designed toy. It's basically a bullet with a slip over it. This would in theory be nice, but most of the vibrations are centered in the 'body' of the Dolphin, and not in the prongs which were meant to be the main focus. The way the toy is advertised it seems like it could be used alone to orgasm, which is not the case. I personally enjoy the larger size, it gives you more to 'play' with. Although it is a bit larger, its still easy to tuck into a purse or underwear drawer. If you were to travel with the Dolphin, I would suggest taking the batteries out of their housing, so it doesn't go off and scare everyone!

The three 'prongs' are not what I thought they would be. Although they do have some very nice vibration to them, your hand takes the brunt of it. I tried switching hands, to keep from getting that buzzed feeling in them, but nothing really helped. It is probably more of a personal thing, but the vibration were a bit to high frequency for me, so I could never orgasm with the Dolphin alone. It was great to get me aroused, but nothing more. The piece that houses the batteries and controls is somewhat poorly made. You can press the dial down, which can sometimes stop the toy altogether. There is no real difference from speed to speed. Its basically on or off, no in-between. This may be fine for some, but I would have enjoyed it more if I could have set it a little lower. It is rather noisy though, so I wouldn't suggest using it unless you know all the children/roommates/etc are asleep. The packaging also clearly states that this toy is NOT waterproof. There is a cord that comes out of a holes in the bullet which would allow water to enter and more then likely destroy it.

Because this toy is made of PVC, it is very easy to clean. A solution of water and anti-bacterial soap will do the trick. Be aware though, that since this toy isn't water proof you CANNOT submerge it in water, or run the entire thing on the faucet. Using a wash cloth is highly recommended. The Dolphin is also compatible with any water or silicone based lubricants. For those who aren't sure of what to use, I suggest going to your local 'toy' store and getting some general toy cleaner.

I personally think the box is a little large for the toy, but that's just me. There are no 'instructions' or care pamphlets inside, which was a little upsetting. The only thing on the box that would give you that information is a small paragraph in small lettering on the side of the box at the bottom. The box also looks like it was intended to be hung, so it would be awkward to wrap if it were going to be given as a gift.
