The Black Magic Pocket Rocket is a small, quiet, battery-powered vibrator, manufactured by Doc Johnson. This toy is made from food-grade ABS plastic and is 100% waterproof as well as hypoallergenic, non-porous and completely latex- and phthalate-free.

This toy has one vibration speed, which is controlled by twisting the middle of the toy. I would describe the single speed as a strong medium. I would prefer it be a little bit stronger, or perhaps have an additional stronger speed, which would make this toy truly magical for me. Considering that this toy runs on a single AA battery, I wouldn’t call it disappointing, but I don’t find the vibrations particularly impressive either.

This toy is meant for external pinpoint stimulation, and does not work well for penetration of any kind. It can be used either with the included nubby covered cap or without the cap, using the three metal vibrating nubs directly on the body. This toy can be used on any part of your body you choose, and is compatible with any kind of lubricant you would like to use.

The Black Magic Pocket Rocket is made from food-grade ABS plastic which is a non-porous, hypoallergenic, material which is both latex- and phthalate-free. ABS plastic rates an 8/10 on the Eden Fantasy’s material safety scale. This toy also has a velvet-touch coating which feels a bit softer than your average plastic toy. It is 4” long and 3.25” around. Because this toy is made of plastic and is waterproof, it is super easy to clean with soap and water.

Since this toy is so tiny, it is a great choice for travel or throwing in a purse, and it’s pretty quiet as well. It cannot be heard from another room, or outside a closed door. I wouldn’t call this toy
discreet, mainly because I know what a pocket rocket is, and this looks like a pocket rocket. However, it does look much less obvious than many other toys.

I think this would make a great toy for someone who was new to sex toys, because of its simplicity, inexpensive price and unintimidating appearance. It may also work well for someone who doesn’t need a lot of power, or those looking for something small and easy to bring with them.
