This toy has multiple different uses because the vibrator can be separated from the silicone outside. Sometimes, I will use just the silicone part for penetration and use just the vibrator for clitoral stimulation. This toy can become waterproof if you remove the bullet. You can use this toy anally, but I would exercise caution because it does not have much of a "base". Rather, it has a raised edge at the end of the toy that could be used to grab onto it. I have honestly never used this toy for anal penetration so I can not tell you whether or not to do so.

The bullet on its own is very useful, since it is six inches long. I've never seen a bullet that was quite this long! Although it has very buzzy, loud vibrations, my girlfriend enjoys how it feels against her breasts and her penis. In the end, I gave the bullet to her, and hung on the the outer part of the toy. I really enjoy the texture and find it to give me a very full sensation during masturbation that I have not felt with any other toy. Although I can not finish with this, it's great for when I am using another toy for anal penetration at the same time.

The material of The Twist isn't like a lot of silicone toys. It's very hard and unforgiving, almost like a plastic toy. The toy is very smooth, not tacky at all. It has a rippled texture that, for me, is more extreme; but to advanced users is a more mild, subtle texture. Being that the outside of this toy is made out of silicone, it does not have a taste, and doesn't tend to smell. However, the bullet of the toy is made out of plastic, and if you don't treat it well it may begin to smell. I have not had that issue with the bullet but I have with other plastic toys in the past.

The size is very suitable for beginners. It is only 1 1/2 inches in diameter and has an insertable length of six inches. The bullet is about 6 inches long and is a long, shiny, generic bullet. Unfortunately, the design of the toy is lacking. I feel like I have very little control because there is not much of a base to hold on to. This would also be a bit scary for anal use. However, it also means that I am not able to hit my G-spot very easily since there is no curve. If the bullet is removed, it is easier to control the toy from the hole that the bullet is usually in.

In order to use this toy, you not only have to lube the outside, but the inside. The bullet can become stuck in the toy if you do not put a bit of lube in before hand. Although getting the bullet stuck inside of the toy does not mean that it is unusable, it means that you are no longer able to sanitize the toy by boiling it. The plastic compartment would melt. If the bullet becomes slightly vacuum-packed in the toy, I'd suggest squeezing the head of the toy to get it out. There is not enough grip on the bullet to pull it out, your best bet is to squeeze from the top, like a tube of toothpaste.

This toy is not discreet, since it has a very obvious head on the top. I find the head design very attractive, and the shaft more functional and textured. Unless you were a very young child, you would most definably recognize this toy.

The bullet in this toy has three speeds: low, medium, and high. The functions have to be cycled through until you can get to "off", which is after the high function. This means that if you had someone else walk in on you, it's not easy to turn off the vibrations quickly.

Of the two vibrators that I have owned so far, the Evolved Seduction and The Twist, there is a definite difference in the way that the vibrations feel. The vibrations in The Twist feel similar to the vibrations of a phone: buzzy and weak. On the other hand, when I tried the Evolved Seduction, it felt more like the vibration you get from riding on the bus, bumpy and rumbly. I much preferred the rumbly feeling of the Seduction to the buzzy feeling of The Twist. Don't get me wrong, the vibrations of the bullet alone were enough to make my hand and my clitoris numb. However, inside of the toy, the vibrations didn't feel very different at all; it felt like I had my phone inside of a dildo.

I'd give this a 2 on the noise scale. It can be heard from across the room, but can not be heard through a closed door. It has a high pitched buzz that really does sound like a vibrating phone. With my fan on, the buzz can barely be heard from across the room.

I have never run out of batteries in the bullet. Feel free to leave the batteries inside of the toy. I am glad that I have never had to worry about batteries, because in my house, triple A batteries are difficult to come by.

The outside of this vibrator can be boiled or put in the top rack of the dishwasher. The bullet should only be cleaned with a damp cloth and water, maybe a little bit of soap. This toy is not waterproof, so I would not suggest submersing the bullet at all. Any kind of lube can be used with the bullet alone, but if you are using the outside, then only used water-based lubes. Silicone lubes will cause the silicone to peel away. It's not fun.

No batteries came with this toy and the packaging was very simplistic. I believe it was just a package that had to be cut to be opened, like a package of lighters. It had a plastic shell that displayed the toy. Not very discreet. I just threw it away.

It's really a shame that Eden has (currently) discontinued this toy. It has a lot of potential, especially when you combine two of them to become one single toy. That's just so fun. I just feel that a few design flaws has causes this toy to go from a five-star toy to a three-star toy.
