Nothing royal about this

If you are new to g-spot exploration and are looking for a non-intimidating toy just for the sole purpose of exploration then this could be the product for you. However, if you are more advanced and need power to get you off, you need to look somewhere else.

Use

As the name implies, the Royal G is designed for g-spot exploration. It could also be used for external stimulation as well on erogenous zones that like to be stimulated.

You can use it on your own or with a partner inserting it in you.

I feel this would be best for those who are just starting to experiment with g-spot toys and exploration like myself. It did not deliver results in that aspect, but I feel that it was a nice tool to help me get familiar with using toys specifically designed for this purpose. It is not intimidating so beginners shouldn't be wary.

Material / Texture

The Royal G is made out of TPR silicone which is a six on Edens safety scale and is hypoallergenic, latex-free, and phthalates free.

It has four rings for texture to add extra stimulation when you are using it internally, but I could not tell they did anything. It also has indentations of a smiley face on the tip of the head that is somewhat cute yet somewhat creepy at the same time. It is not your normal smiley face either which I thought was strange. It has two eyebrows, two small bumps for a nose, and then a smile.

It is smoothe to the touch and has no smell. The curved tip is flexible, but the rest of the toy is hard and has no give to it whatsoever.

Design / Shape / Size

It comes in a pretty, rich, dark purple which is my favorite color and has a black base where the controls are located. It has a curved tip allowing for good g-spot exploration.

It is 8" in overall length
7" insertable length
4 1/2" circumference
1 3/8" diameter

It is small enough to store in your purse or bag when traveling, but is not discreet enough to be considered anything other than a sex toy. It is best to take the batteries out while traveling, but if you did not I don't see how it would be possible to accidentally twist the dial on while in a bag.

It is not too large in length or girth for most users.

Functions / Performance / Controls

It requires 2 AA batteries that are not included, but has an individual battery compartment for easy battery insertion. The batteries are located under a twist cap at the base of the toy. The one annoying thing for me is there are no indentions showing which way the batteries are supposed to go into the toy. I'm the type of girl that is always on the look out for a + or - to show me which way they go. That is not the case with this toy, and since their were no instructions included I had to figure it out by trial and error. For your convenience, the positive (+) side goes down into the toy and both batteries are facing the same way with the negative (-) side up closest to the cap.

The twist dial is easy to use and has low, medium, and high speeds. You control the speed of vibration by turning the dial to the right located at the bottom of the toy. The farther you twist the dial the higher the speed will increase. I have never been a fan of twist dial controls because if you ever find a setting you like the odds are you won't be able to find it again.

This toy is very loud and would not be suited for those with roommates or thin walls without lots of background noise. It starts off not being loud, but the higher the setting the louder it gets until finally it is so buzzy sounding you'd think it was trying to blast off somewhere.

The vibrations are very buzzy and are located mostly in the center of the toy which I found to be odd considering this is a g-spot toy and it may have been more beneficial for the vibrations to be closer to the curve. However, I'm no expert in g-spot exploration so this may be how they should be designed. The vibrations can be felt when holding it in your hand and do tend to make them all itchy from holding it too long.

It is waterproof and I did take it into the shower with me and did not have any issues with it afterwards, so it is most definitely splash proof. There is a seal at the bottom where the batteries are located so I do not see how water could seep into the battery compartment.

Some word of advice, this is a battery guzzler. I don't know exactly how long it was before the batteries ran down, but I can say it was much faster than all of my other toys combined and that's saying a lot.

Care and Maintenance

Since it is waterproof, cleanup is a breeze. Wash before and after each use with mild soap and warm water or your favorite antibacterial toy cleaner. The only issue about cleaning it is the four grooves can be a pain to clean around thoroughly, but other than that I haven't had any issues.

Since the product is made out of silicone it is best to use only water-based lubricants because using silicone lubricants can break down the material in teh silicone toy and we would not want that.

Always remove batteries when not in use to prolong the life of the toy.

It did not come with any additional storage bag so it is best to store this away from any other silicone products that you may own. It is small enough to store in your lingerie drawer, toybox, or wherever you store your toys.

Packaging

The Royal G came in a clear plastic clam shell package that is easy to open. You can see the Royal G through the package and the cover states "Talk Sex with Sue Johanson The TV Show that Tests the Toys!" It also shows that it is waterproof, silicone, soft, pliable, and powerful. That being said, it is obvious you are receiving a sex toy and wouldn't be confused as anything else. The back cover shows a picture of the Royal G, restates what was mentioned on the front, and shows copyright information and their website.

Personal comments

The Royal G is my second specifically designed g-sot toy. Ever since I was finally able to achieve orgasm clitorally, I've switched my focus to g-spot toys.

Experience

As I mentioned earlier, this is only my second g-spot toy and this did not produce any orgasms or get me anywhere close to climax. I am glad to have something that is not intimidating to help me explore my body in this aspect. I do wish that it offered more power because the buzzy vibrations are just not what my body needs.
Follow-up commentary
This was my second vibrator I tried that could be inserted. I did not like it then when I had little experience with vibrators, and I sure do not like it now when I have quite a lot of experience with vibrators. This is too weak and noisy for me, and I do not use it at all.
