Getting the Point

Overall this little G-spot vibe performed admirably, delivering exactly what it says it will - g-spot stimulation! It is well made, well designed, and pretty, to boot!

Use

The Royal G is a targeted G-spot vibrator made of TPR (Silicone Rubber). Internally, it delivers varying speed vibrations right where you need them and gets the job done rather admirably. I found it slightly awkward to adjust the speed while using it, as the dial is at the bottom (like many vibrators) but it was not a deal breaker.

It can also be used for external stimulation of the labia, nipples, and clitoris to good effect.

For the most part I found that this was a good solo toy but I imagine it also could have some fun uses with a partner - unfortunately I was single at the time and could not test whether this is the case.

Material / Texture

Made of TPR Silicone Rubber, it does not have the same sensitivity/volatility issues that toys made of jelly have and does not need as much care and feeding as, say, latex. The TPR "sleeve" on the vibe is nice and pliant without being smooshy, and is smooth to the touch. I did not notice any particular smell which is wonderful.

There are ridges along the shaft of this toy for extra stimulation when you use it internally and I found that they added little to the experience - they're just too small to make much of a difference. This does add visual appeal, and the fact that the ridges aren't incredibly pronounced make it a pretty good toy for beginners and advanced users alike.

As this is basically a TPR sleeve over a hard stick vibrator, it is rather rigid, so there is no flex to the toy - the rubbery coating is more of a cushion than anything.

Design / Shape / Size

The Royal G is about 8" long (7" insertable in total) and has a hooked point at the end, for G-spot (or clitoral) stimulation. It works admirably for this purpose, giving nice vibration all the way through to the point.

I found that it was rather slim for "thrusting" sensations so sticking to g-spot massage was key. I wouldn't say that it turned on the waterworks or anything, but it certainly did its job of bringing me some very nice orgasms.

It's quite easy to hide if you have nosy roommates/family, but I would not advise traveling with this unless it was in your checked luggage. The idea of explaining my vibrator to the TSA turns me off the idea of putting one in my carry on bag.

Functions / Performance / Controls

This is a rather simple vibe. You control the speed of vibration by turning a dial at the bottom of the cap. The vibrations spread pretty evenly throughout the toy which is a big bonus. Unfortunately, the rigid stick nature of this toy makes it slightly awkward to control the speed via the dial while in use, but that could just be my short little arms struggling to do so.

The Royal G is not incredibly powerful but neither is it weak. It's a pretty solid vibe with some nice vibrations (especially with fresh batteries). Once the batteries are running low, however, the intensity can be quite variable - just be warned. Also, if the batteries are not seated properly it may function strangely, not affording you as much control over the strength and speed of the vibrations.

It is advertised as waterproof, but like many toys that have a battery cap at the bottom and a TPR/Silicone sleeve over the top, I advise that it's more "splash proof" and to keep it out of the bathtub, pool or shower.

It takes two AA batteries (not included) and can drain them fairly quickly if you aren't careful - always make sure your vibe is turned all the way off before you wash it and put it away!

Care and Maintenance

This is much safer material than, say, Jelly, but care must be taken. It is somewhat porous so if you plan to share it please use a condom. To clean, wash with warm soapy water and dry well, or use toy cleaner of your preferred type. Store wrapped in a non-linty cloth (a piece of bedsheet, some satin) or in a plastic bag to keep the lint and dust away from its rubbery surface.

Follow-up commentary
This really is the little vibe that can. I had it stored away for a while and when I retrieved it, I gave it a nice good washing, and gave it a go. Great g-spot stimulation as I'd remembered and the motor for the vibrator had not suffered in storage at all. It has been well taken care of and I think that helps make it so that this one still stands the test of time.
