About nine months ago I decided to give the Hitachi personal massager a try. I had heard it was so powerful and amazing that I could have an orgasm in 5 minutes or less. Well…..that did not end up being true for me. When I tried it, and believe me I’ve tried it all different ways, it either ended up being painful or numbing. And actually, it was almost impossible for me to have an orgasm with. So my Hitachi was relegated to the back of the drawer, only to be used if my husband had aches and pains and needed a massage.

Fast forward to now. I saw the Jollies Curved Hitachi attachment and decided to give it a try for my monthly review assignment. I wasn’t sure I would care for it because I don’t normally like internal vibrators, they’re usually not strong enough for me to notice much, but then again the Hitachi is super strong. So I gave it a shot, and boy am I glad I did. Actually, the first time I tried it I wasn’t super crazy about it right away, until I figure out how this can be used as a dual stimulator. What worked for me was to insert the attachment deep enough into the vagina so that the rounded end that is covering the Hitachi is up against my external bits, and move it in a rocking motion so that the attachment end presses against the G and A Spots, and the external end rubs up against the vulva and clitoris. Once I found that little trick, it was OMG!!!! In less than 5 minutes. Yep, my Hitachi can now make me orgasm in 5 minutes or less.

And if that’s not enough fun for you, this can also be used completely externally. The vibrations of the Hitachi transmit beautifully through the whole attachment. It just barely buffers the strength of Hitachi’s vibrations, but it does just enough that I can use it….on the low setting. I still can’t use it on high. But I am able to use the tip of the attachment as a clitoral stimulator without any pain or numbing. This probably would also work well for anal play, though I have not tried that yet. But since it is silicone, and definitely has a large enough base, I’m sure it would work great for that. And if I ever get brave enough to give it a go, I’ll put that in the follow up.

The Jollies Curved Hitachi attachment is made out of 100% silicone, which is non-porous, phthalates free, hypo-allergenic and latex free. The silicone on this toy is shiny and somewhat tacky. It should be cleaned before using and stored in something like a zip lock bag because it is a dust, hair, you name it, magnet. My attachment does have a seam that runs across the part that covers the Hitachi, though it is not something I could feel. Otherwise, this is a smooth toy and has no texture whatsoever. At first I had a difficult time getting this on and off my Hitachi, it was just a bit too tight. I was able to fix that by rubbing a bit of water based lube around the inner rim, which did the trick and made it extremely easy to get on and off.

The overall size of this toy is 7 inches long. The attachment part is about 4 inches long and has a diameter of 1 1/4 inches. This is not the girthiest toy, but it really doesn’t need to be. I think the size is perfect because you are able to move it around more easily to feel the vibrations everywhere. This attachment probably would also work for other similar vibrating massagers with heads about the same size as the Hitachi.

Due to it’s tackiness it is probably best to use this with a lubricant. Just make sure it’s water based because silicone lubes ruin silicone toys.

Cleaning is a breeze with this, just wash it with warm soap and water. It can also be disinfected when needed, by running it through the top rack of the dishwasher, or boiling it for about 3 to 5 minutes.

I have to say I love the Jollies Curved Hitachi attachment. It has saved my Hitachi and removed it from the back of the drawer up closer to the front. And hubby? Well I suppose he can still use it for massages…once in a while...when I’m not busy with it.

I'm still really happy that I got this. It turned my Hitachi Magic Wand from a toy I wouldn't use, except for back massages on hubby, to a toy I can now say I enjoy. I do use it quite a bit, and it is holding up nicely.
