Use

The Symphony Opus by Evolved novelties is a wonderful beginner vibrator that bends wonderfully for g-spot stimulation. The toy itself is textured with raised oval bumps evenly spaced all around the length of it allowing for some extra intimate sensations. Though the toy is designed for g-spot stimulation, it can easily be used for clitoral as well as outer vaginal stimulation and nipples due to the unique location of this toy’s bullet being in the tip instead of in the base.

The Opus is made of TPR making it hypo-allergenic, phthalates free and for those who suffer from latex allergies it is latex free as well. Due to TPR being a porous material it cannot be fully disinfected, so it is a good idea to use a condom during sharing (ALWAYS use a condom if you decide to use Opus for anal use and use with EXTREME caution if at all due to the design lacking a large base).

The toy measures around 8 1/10" in length and only 6" insertable, which is great for first time vibe buyers but for more experienced users who enjoy more length this toy may not be for you. Opus is also like many of the other Evolved toys is waterproof so you can easily take it with you for some personal time in the shower and/or bath. The toy is very flexible which is a plus if your a woman whose anatomy isn't perfectly straight, it can easily bend while inside you to reach those sweet spots that you have been aching to get at. This toy is well designed to conform to your personal inner curves, all while bouncing back to its original form.

The Opus symphony works great as a beginner toy and for warm up before insertion during foreplay. Opus is designed with the taper end being the smallest in diameter (allowing for easy insertion) and gains girth as you move down the shaft towards the base, which measures at a diameter of 1.75". The easy touch button control located at the base is perfect for new to vibrator users and requires no needed instruction other than pressing the button to cycle through the 3 speeds this toy has to offer.

The Opus Symphony can easily be given as a gift (like many of the other Evolved toy line) due to the beautiful tin box/storage case that it comes in.

Material / Texture

When I received the Symphony Opus and pulled it out of its tin box the first thing I noticed was the smell. The toy being made of TPR gave it a ripe smell of rubber, which I found a bit of a turn off. Though after a few washes in warm water and anti-bacterial soap the smell thankfully did subside but is still faintly there. I personally found no significant taste to the toy.

The material aspect of the Opus symphony (though smelly) offers the nice perks of being hypo-allergenic and latex free. Being made of thermoplastic rubber a.k.a. TPR makes this toy jelly like in feeling allowing for quick adjustment to your inner temperatures upon insertion. This toy has some very nice texture (as seen on the shape and raised bumps) as well as flexibility, which gives an added bonus on sensation when it comes to thrusting.

It is good to note that the TPR material aspect of this toy does make it act like a magnet in attracting lint, hair and other little fluffy things so be sure to store it back in its nice tin box after each use.

Design / Shape / Size

The Opus Symphony is really well designed for stimulation in my opinion. It's cute little jelly frame measures a full length of 8 1/10", but only 6" insertable. Now before you turn this toy down for size, be aware that what Opus lacks in size it does make up for in texture.

6"inches of insertable texturized fun!!

The Opus has a wonderful structure to it, which kind of flows in waves. The toy can be broken down into four bulbous like sections.
Here are the sections broken down for visual aid:

-The first section being the tapered tip designed for g-spot stimulation measures in at around 2.5" in length measuring from tip to start of second section (where the bullet ends). The first section is smooth in texture and lacks any raised oval bumps. The tapered end has a nice curved formation that raises and falls as it moves into the second section, the design kind of reminded me of the older style christmas tree light bulb. This christmas tree bulb like end allows for easy insertion and leads the way to open up to the larger sections.

- The second section begins to gain girth and measures about an 1" in length. This section is the start of the raised oval bumps and 6 wrap around the section in total.

-The third section gains a bit more girth and measures around 1.25" in length, this section also has 6 raised oval bumps that wrap around the section.

- The fourth section is the widest section and has the most girth, it measures in about 1.25" in length. The 4th section like the others displays as well 6 raises oval bumps that wrap around this section. There is a total between sections 2-4 of 18 raise oval bumps. The oval bumps aline themselves in a lineal fashion along the length of the toy in lines of 3 (1 from each section). The other 2 1/10" of this toy seem to be made of a hard plastic that is velvety to the touch and the TPR ends. This hard plastic end is where you will find the control pad of the toy located at the very base. The tiny button control pad is easily found and with just one click starts up this vibe into its 1st of 3 phase of vibrations.

I would like to note that Opus being fully textured does feel amazing during play time, and I did REALLY enjoy what this toy had to offer. However, I really wish this toy was just an inch longer. I would say that this toy is most definitely more designed for beginner toy users due to its length. But, as an advanced toy user myself I do find that though this toy doesn't have the perfect length, the texture and width do make up for that slight downfall. I also loved the raised oval bumps and found them OOOH so stimulating, especially during thrusting and twisting of the Opus.

Functions / Performance / Controls

Opus adds to its stimulating attributes by carrying its vibrating bullet in the tip instead of the base. The toy is super easy to use. You just unscrew the base and insert 2 AA batteries in and it's ready for use. Once you press down the touch button control pad on the base of the toy it begins its 1st of only 3 vibration settings:
1st setting: Low deep vibration
2nd setting: Medium deep vibration
3rd setting: High deep vibration

The vibrations for me were slightly disappointing. The first two settings make Opus versatile when it comes to teasing for both yourself during solo play and for couple foreplay. The vibrating bullet location being in the tip of Opus allows it to easily be used for stimulation of the clitoris, outer genitalia and nipples. However, I didn't really find that these vibrations were THAT strong. During my personal solo time with this toy I tended to just keep it on the 3rd setting because for me this is the only setting that does anything for me. But, even though I was a little sad by the vibration settings Opus does work wonders as a g-spot vibe because of the flexibility given by the TPR material.

I personally suffer from a curved cervix so this toy really amazed me at how easily it could stroke my g-spot just right. Opus easily bends and can return back to its original shape. As you can see the flexibility of this toy is rather impressive.

How's that for g-spot stimulation!

Opus like the other Symphony toys from Evolved, is waterproof. This I found to be a nice perk, and made showers much more intimate for myself and my partner. Opus easily withstood shower time play, but I would note to users to make sure that the base of the toy is screwed on tightly!! Or else your Opus will not last very long at all during your water fun. I can say that Opus is very quiet, which makes it very discrete. When I first got this toy I ran to my bedroom and went to town for a good hour, all while my partner was fast a sleep beside me. He didn't wake once. This makes Opus very appealing for those of you who may be living in a dorm, with room mates or other house guests.
    • Discreet sound
    • Easy to use
    • Multiple settings

Care and Maintenance

The Opus Symphony is made of TPR meaning it cannot be boiled or fully disinfected due to it being a porous material. This can be seen as a down side for couples looking to share this toy. But, don't let that put Opus off the market for you, that sharing problem is easily solved by just using a condom over the toy!

As far as caring for your Opus it's very easy, I find that good old warm water and anti-bacterial soap works wonders. Just wet the toy, soap it up and dry with paper towel than return to tin box. Or, if you have it, some toy cleaner (which really helps get rid of the rubber smell of this toy). I use Before and After toy cleaner by Classic Erotica [https://www.edenfantasys.com/sex-essentials/sex-toy-cleaners-and-wipes/before-and-after-toy-cleaner] which I find is great for Opus because of it's fresh scent.

Now because TPR is a jelly like material your Opus will easily pick up any debris, so it's a good idea to make use of that beautiful tin storage container that comes with the toy to prolong the life of your Opus and keep it from turning into a hair ball.
    • Attracts debris.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

Packaging

Like all Symphony edition toys by Evolved Novelties Opus comes in a beautiful red tin storage case with a see through window that displays the toy inside.

as you can see the tin storage case measures: Around 9.5" in length and just under 5" across

The tin displays two lock like latches located at both the top centre and the bottom centre of the tin. The latches easily pop open to reveal your beautiful Opus hiding within, surrounded by a black velvet like material. The material is cut in the shape of the toy to allow the toy to stay put while inclosed in its pretty tine case.

Classy inside ain't it?

As you can see Evolved has really made it easy to store this toy.I wouldn't go as far as saying that the tin case is discrete being that it is bright red it also is littered with "Love is back" and "Evolved" on the sides. However,I'm sure if you wanted to you could easily hide it. The storage case is only about 2.5" thick which would easily allow it to be hidden among books on a book shelf (just a dorm room idea, school is fast approaching ladies!). Aside from good storage, the tin case that Opus comes in also makes it very easy to give as a gift as it can be easily wrapped and placed with in a gift bag.I would personally say Evolved did wonders when it came up with the packaging for the Symphony toys.

As far as instructions Opus doesn't come with an instructional manual just some gibberish spewed on the back of its tin storage case going on about the "Music for your body, carefully orchestrated to help heighten your sense." Not going to lie, I giggled a bit when I read this. None the less, after the little paragraph of silliness the back of the box lists the toy as having: 3 stimulating speeds, easy push button controls, phthalate-free and body-safe, jelly like material flexes and conforms, ultra-powerful motor soothes and seduces, maximum intensity with minimum noise, satin-smooth coated controls, hygienic medical-grade TPR, shower & bath-friendly. That's about all of a manual this toy comes with. However, with such easy controls I can see why, all you really have to do is lay back, push the button and enjoy.
    • Good for storage
    • Would make a nice gift
    • Relatively easy to hide

Personal comments

Due to Opus being made of TPR as well as its increasing girth and texture I did find I needed some additional lube with the toy. TPR is both silicone and water base appropriate so you don't need to worry about which lube base you use with this toy, just keep some near you during play time because it most definitely may be needed.

Experience

I personally think the Symphony Opus is a awesome toy, and I did have some mind blowing O's with it. But, I refused to give it 5 stars because it is only O-almost perfect. Though Opus makes for a great beginner and advanced user vibe if you're a girl who likes some deep thrusting beware. I found myself unintentionally hitting the control button at the base again and again during thrusting, which turned the toy off numerous times. As you can imagine this was very frustrating for me and I found it to be a bit of a design flaw.

The hard plastic base also easily gets slick when wet, making it very easy to unintentionally lose your grip on the base of this toy, so watch for that during play time if you can. From my numerous occasions during personal solo play with Opus, I found myself wishing that the toy extended just a slight inch longer and contained more vibration settings. Other than that, for the price you can't go wrong Opus will bring you exactly what you need in the end and that is a great g-spot orgasm.
Follow-up commentary
This vibe has done me good. I still enjoy it all the time with one of my bullet vibes being used on my clit. The texturized sensations are wonderful and it still runs like it's brand new. Great buy!
