This metallic purple bullet is not only gorgeous, but highly functional as bullets go. I found that the Crystal High Intensity Bullet 2, by California Exotic Novelties to be everything it is advertised to be.

It is definitely a high intensity bullet, with a bit more rumble to it than others I have experienced, especially on the lower settings. When you move up to the higher settings it gets a bit more buzzy, but is very strong and powerful. It is hard to determine how many speeds it has, it just keeps getting stronger in increments the longer you hold the button down, but I estimate 3 according to how the motor sounds as it moves up the levels. The power button, located on the end of the bullet lights up and blinks red as you hold it down. A waste of power if you ask me, since your thumb is covering it, so you only catch a small glimpse of the light underneath your finger.


This bullet fits into my Champion vibrating dildo and is stronger than the bullet provided with it at purchase. I love that it fits my silicone toy!
The bullet is 3 1/2" in length, 2" in circumference, and 1/2" in diameter. The perfect size for clitoral stimulation. Because of its small size it is not recommended for insertion, but good for the clit and dip motion I love to use. It feels sensuous on all of the outer bits of the vagina, as well as on the perineum and nipples. Anal insertion is definitely a no-no.
The hardness of the bullet ensures pin point accuracy, while the blunt tip ensures comfort of body and peace of mind. There is nothing worse than jabbing your clit with a pointed tip.

The High Intensity Bullet 2 is made with hard ABS plastic with a metallic plated finish. The body is smooth and seamless of course; until you reach the 6 glass crystal rhinestones it is adorned with. California Exotics recommends that you wash both before and after each use and to use a water based lubricant only. They do not specify how to wash it, but seeing that they recommend a water based lubricant only tells me that either because of the metallic finish or the rhinestones/crystals, harsh chemicals would be a bad idea. I simply used hot water and anti-bacterial soap. Normally with ABS plastic material, you would be able to bleach and disinfect, as well as use any lubricant you wished. I would not be sharing this bullet, as the little crystals have the potential to be bacteria holders. Of course if it is absolutely necessary cover with a condom. There are no smells or tastes at all with this material.

This bullet uses 1 AAA battery, which is a mighty great thing! I hate the watch batteries that have to be used with most small bullets. They are a nuisance and inconvenient. To insert battery, simply unscrew the cap on the bottom of bullet, insert and re-screw cap. There is a small sticker on cap telling you to screw the cap on tightly.

The bullet comes in a small plastic, easy open container which has a cardboard insert with directions on care and maintenance. This insert boasts that the battery life will be 8+ hours on low and 4+ hours on high. That is impressive!
This bullet is waterproof, and passed the water test wonderfully. It is still going strong.

The bullet is also pretty quiet to be as strong as it is. Only 2 bees, so privacy is ensured.

Small enough to tuck into the smallest of purses, it is highly portable.


TIP: I have a lot of sun glasses which also feature these rhinestones, and can tell you that they easily fall off your product, but if you brush on a dab of clear nail polish (Hard as Nails) atop the rhinestones they will stay on indefinitely.

I think its pretty cool to have a bullet that matches my sunglasses, especially since it is also waterproof. I'll be chillin' by the pool this Summer! I will have to let you know if the chlorine affects the metallic finish.

This bullet has held up better than I ever expected. I never did get to a pool this summer Ugh! but it has seen some shower use and works well in there. The metallic coating has come off only where I have scratched it (don't really know how that happened!) As I recommended, the coating of clear nail polish has kept the little rhinestones on, I would say it needs a fresh coat about now. I really love that the battery doesn't need to be replaced often, and that it doesn't use watch batteries. Overall, a very nice and durable bullet!
