Quiet Lucidity?

Buy a cheaper clitoral stimulator...they may not last forever, but they do deliver the orgasms. Lucid Dreams No. 84 did not deliver anything but style.
Quiet vibrations; contemporary packaging; selection of colors.
Lack of powerful vibrations; bullet is too large.

The line of Lucid Dream toys, by Doc Johnson, has drawn my attention for a while. The toys are so colorful, the shapes seem unique & modern, and the name sounds so erotic. So, when it came time to pick my next assignment (and my bullet died), I decided it was the time to give Lucid Dreams a try.

A Lucid Dream is a dream in which the person is aware they are dreaming while the dream is in progress. When the dreamer is lucid, they can actively participate in and often manipulate the imaginary experiences in the dream environment. Lucid dreams can be extremely real and vivid. The goal of this assignment is to see if the Lucid Dream Egg lives up to its name.

Lucid Dream no. 84 comes in two colors, peach and purple. Since purple is my favorite color, the fact that more than one color is offered is a definite plus. The Lucid Dream Egg requires 2 AA batteries for operation.

The Egg has a smooth jelly covering with nubs at the end of it. This feature excites me because I've enjoyed previous bullets with nubs. I was attracted to the 'generous length of cord' for maneuverability. The egg is also waterproof and multi-speed. The four levels speed are controlled by two push buttons.

I was impressed with the packaging of the toy. The egg came in a plastic box, decorated with pink and brown graphics. I consider the packaging mod, which is a refreshing change from the usual packaging.

The description on the box states that Lucid Dreams have 'the most advanced motors we've ever made'. I surely hope the motor in the egg was not the most advanced because the egg was not powerful enough for my taste. The intensity might be sufficient for newbies or sensitive areas. I prefer POWER----the kind of power that should have produced rapid eye movement. The highest level of speed was probably half the intensity of my favorite clitoral stimulator.

For my personal tastes, the egg was too big to deliver the orgasms desired. This toy did not even start any orgasmic activity. After an orgasm, the toy felt good on the clit, but what wouldn't? The egg appears to have a large bullet in it. The bullet was too big for targeted stimulation of the clit. The nubs provided no pleasure, either. I used the egg vaginally, while using a better bullet on my clit. The play session was amazing, but the Lucid Dream did not really contribute much. The vibrations are pleasant, but not intense enough.

This jelly isn't phthalates-free, so be aware of that. Another Lucid Dreams vibe that falls short...

Haha, I bet that motor was not very advanced either.
  • Bought this vibe 4 months ago, have only used it twice and it has stopped working. looked after it, didn't keep batteries in it when not in use and now it just cuts in and out or turns off all together, rather annoyed as it cost me $40 (Australian)
