G-spot rabbit vibrator discontinued
by Golden Triangle

Quite literally, just a spoonful of sugar.

While the design of this toy seems like it would be a lot of fun, it was pretty much a flop for me. The clitoral vibrator was nice, but the rotating head wasn't very impressive. The awkward shape isn't ideal for clitoral stimulation alone and there are better clitoral vibrators out there. It wasn't worth the nearly $40 investment, honestly.

Use

The Sugar Spoon is a nice beginner's vibrator for women who don't need or like a lot of pressure during g-spot stimulation. For me, the rotation of the head gave a nice feeling, but wasn't really strong enough to produce the sensations I enjoy.

The clitoral stimulator has three settings, all of which have strong enough vibrations to produce a nice sensation. The highest settings are strong enough to feel just inside your vagina too. It's very quiet, even on the highest setting, so it's good for discreet clitoral stimulation if you're concerned about that.

The handle is large enough for solo play or couple's play. You can hold it in place or rock it around a bit, because you don't want to move the rotating part in and out of your vagina. That might be painful, or awkward. This toy isn't really meant for thrusting.

Material / Texture

The soft jelly is still firm, and a little squishy. The entire toy is ribbed, but you don't get to enjoy much stimulation out of that because the toy isn't really meant for thrusting. The texture does feel nice. The smell was faint, not as pungent as some other jelly toys I own.

Design / Shape / Size

The design was interesting, but not quite what I needed. The ribbed texture of the toy would have been more enjoyable if the center of the toy was a little thicker to allow better stimulation of the vaginal walls. The toy is pretty slender so it would be good for people who didn't like a lot of girth with their sex toys.

I also felt that the 'spoon' was too far away from the clitoral stimulator. When I put the vibe in far enough to get clitoral stimulation, the spoon just sort of rotated around deep inside of me, instead of anywhere near my G-spot, which was kind of the purpose of buying the toy.

Functions / Performance / Controls

Both the rotation and the clitoral bullet have 3 settings (low, medium, and high), that are controlled with buttons on the front of the vibrator. There is also a button to switch the direction of the rotation just above the other settings. It's a little difficult to adjust the settings during solo play because the buttons are very small and close together, and even though you can turn it on before you insert it, it's not very pleasant to do it that way. Also, as you get more turned on and need more intensity, you'll fumble around with it and wind up turning it off accidentally, which can be pretty frustrating. It is a little more fun to have a partner use this vibe on you than to try to use it yourself.

The Sugar Spoon is also a battery hog. It takes three AAA batteries and you'll only get one or two uses out of the vibe before one or both of the functions randomly stop working. You pretty much need to keep brand new batteries around for when you want to play with this toy.

Another issue I had with the toy is that the rotating part would stop working if I tried to apply any additional pressure to my G-spot. Sometimes even just being inside my vagina would cause it to stop working. I don't know if this is a battery issue or if the rotating device is just very weak.

The clitoral bullet vibrations are very quiet on all three settings, and the rotation is just a little bit louder than the bullet. It's not off putting or a turn off and I don't believe it could be heard through a bedroom door/wall. It's waterproof, which adds a nice alternative place for masturbation if you share a bedroom or wanna try something different.

Care and Maintenance

You can clean the toy with soap and water or before and after cleaner. The ribs require a little more detailed scrubbing, but it's not too much of a hassle. Since it's jelly you'll need to store it separately and in a plastic bag so dust doesn't stick to it. You probably don't want to share it, since jelly is porous and harder to sterilize.

Experience

From my partner's point of view, the toy was less fun to use as little to no pressure could be applied and it's not really suited for thrusting. Sitting there holding a toy that does everything for you is hardly entertaining.

After a few uses, the functions decided to stop working together simultaneously, and if they do, it's never inside the vagina. After several attempts at using this toy, we've pretty much retired it.
Follow-up commentary
I've had this vibe for about 9 months now. I recently discovered where my G-spot is and how to have that kind of orgasm, so I decided to break out all my G-spot toys and give them another shot. This one still didn't do it for me. The motor that rotates the head is just very weak and it still stops working if any pressure is applied to it. The clitoral bullet vibration and the rotating head still decide to work in random spurts, usually never at the same time. The material isn't safe and the spirals don't really give much sensation, so it's just not worth the investment. There are plenty of other toys to invest $40 on.

Thanks! A lot of the ones that have a rotating function seem to flop for most women.

Thank you, thank you. I am absolutely thrilled to have found my g-spot. The only downside is that now I need to spend $85 on a Liberator Throe. Tongue out
