While hooked like a G Spot vibrator, I found it difficult to use for that purpose because of the short shaft length. It does make a pretty good spot vibe for clitoral stimulation though.

I think the Gia would be a good beginner's vibrator, especially for those who are trying different materials.

I love the rigidity of the Gia!

I love rigid toys and the Gia is definitely rigid. In other words it is made from a hard plastic. It is ABS plastic with a PU coating that makes it silky to the touch. For those of you who need to be able to apply more pressure than flexible toys allow, ABS plastic is a fantastic. It is phthalates free and you can use any type of lube with it, silicone or water based, as neither will hurt the Gia. It has no detectable smell after washing and no taste.

I love the velvety texture of the coating. It is super smooth and feels really nice against the my labia and clitoris, especially with a little lube. Not quite as silky as silicone but very close. Circling the Gia are some stylized ridges. I really liked them a lot but wish the band was a little bit wider for more stimulation.

I believe the texture would be great for beginners as well as advanced users but I think advanced users will find the toy small and limited.

I love the hooked head on the Gia and I think it would be great for G Spot stimulation if the toy were a little longer. It is designed to be compact and discreet in size though so I guess it would defeat the purpose if it were longer.

The ridges along the shaft are very nice I just wish the ridged band was a little wider, maybe 2 ridges wider for extended stimulation.

I think the size would make the Gia perfect for a beginner but I think that advanced users, unless they happen to like small toys, may find the size to be too small. It is however very easy to conceal and you could easily drop it into a make-up bag or purse for travel.

The Gia is a 3 speed vibrator; it has a low, medium and high setting. It is super intuitive as there is a button on the end and each press takes the level higher. On the 4th press of the button the vibrator shuts off.

The vibrations are pretty deep and not too buzzy in my opinion but they could be stronger.

The Gia is waterproof and has done well with washing. I have not taken it into the shower or submerged it though.

It does seem to go through batteries pretty quickly. Perhaps because it is operated by a single AA battery.

You can easily hear the Gia when it is in your hand, so as far as sound goes it is not super discreet. I could not hear it beneath my down comforter though.

Because the Gia is ABS plastic and waterproof it is easy to care for. You can store it with any of your other toys and there would be no degradation. It washes up easily with antibacterial toy cleaner and water and is waterproof so you do not have to worry about being careful around the controls.

I store it together with my other non-silicone toys in a drawstring bag. Silicone won't bother this toy, but I store them each separately to protect them. The Gia is pretty small so you will be able to store it just about anywhere.

The Gia came packaged in a clear plastic box. I suppose you could leave the Gia in the box as a gift. It would be easy to wrap but it is not at all discreet packaging. Again you could store it in the box but it would take up quite a bit more room and provide no privacy whatsoever from anyone that sees it.

I personally am not real impressed with the Gia. I think I would have liked it a lot when I first began using toys but now the size is limiting. For me the vibrations are not strong enough to use it solely as a clitoral vibe, but I will say that it makes a wonderful teaser to work up to the main event.
