Since we're still new to toys, in our last order we purchased several items to build our collection and give us ideas of what we liked when it comes to shapes, types of vibrators and materials they're made of. I excitedly picked Gia for a G-spot vibrator because I liked her shape and color and controls. In addition, she seemed a good value for the price.

While she is designed for G-spot stimulation, unless I am really warmed up, I can not insert her without pain. She also does not hit my G-spot correctly. After she was inside me and I got excited, it was hard to retrieve her because my kegel muscles sucked her in.

I can use her on my nipples and found a bit more satisfaction when I used her on my clitoris.

I do not recommend her for anal use as she does not have a flared base and is very rigid.

I love the feel of Gia when I hold her in my hand. Constructed of ABS plastic with a PU coat, she is smooth to the touch except for her ridges. She is great for beginners and advanced users because you can feel the texture, but it isn't overwhelming.

I did not notice any taste, but she had a very slight powdery scent when I took her out of her box.

I like the concept behind her design but she does not work well for me. For one thing, in order to hit my G-spot, I need something that is flexible---and she is rigid. For another thing, if I am inserting her, I need more length because she gets sucked in and is hard to get out.

Her vibrations are not deep enough to bring me to an orgasm when she is used internally.

I finally tried to use her like a long bullet by just having her be next to my clitoris and lips. At the time I started this, I was not aroused and mainly playing around. By grinding my hips a bit while using her, I was able to become aroused within a few minutes. However, she was not able to bring me to orgasm. I wound up having to get out of bed and grab a bullet because my husband was dead to the world and I now needed some relief.

From this experience, I can see where she could be used to build arousal if used on the clitoris and labia.

I love her push button controls at the bottom which allow me to cycle through all three speeds. Her vibrations can be felt all along her 5.5" shaft, of which 4.5" is insertable. She is 1.5" in diamter and is powered by 1 AA battery.

To me, when not being used internally, her vibrations feel buzzy. When I hold her in my hand and have her running, my hand starts to feel numb after a couple of minutes.

When she is used internally she does not appear overly buzzy, but is not deep either.

In spite of her buzzy vibrations, I find her to be very quiet no matter how she is used.

She is phthalate free and can be washed with warm water and soap or toy cleaner. Do not boil her or put her in the dishwasher because of her motor inside.

You can use silicone-based or water-based lubricants with her.

Because of her slim size, you can store her by throwing her in your underwear drawer or even leave her out on the nightstand. She does not gather any lint although our rabbit tried his best to get some fur to stick on her by chinning her all over.

California Exotics is not known for discreet packaging and Gia's package was anything but discreet. She was in a plastic box that was mostly see-through and it stated that she was power-packed, whisper quiet and silky smooth. The back of her package stated that she is discreet and perfectly sized, velvet-cote, and sensually ribbed for extra stimulation along with being 3 speed with a push button control cap and waterproof. You can not look at this package without knowing that she is a vibrator of some sort.

I am torn between giving her two stars, three stars and four stars. I know - what a big range - right?

I love her design and she feels so nice just to hold in my hand. She is discreet and easy to store and she doesn't pick up lint. Those are all major things to me. In addition, I love her controls and how easy they are to use.

She just doesn't fit me because I like something that is larger in diameter and length. I also prefer more flexibility.

I finally decided to give her three stars and wish I could give her 3.5 stars.

She is so nicely made and feels like a decent quality toy. For her price, I think she is a great value if she will fit your needs.
