Black diamond - rabbit vibrator by Pipedream - review by ~LaUr3n~

The Black Diamond is an excellent rabbit vibrator for women who like dual stimulation and prefer mid range toys. It's not gigantic in size which makes it more easy to maneuver. It has multiple speeds for the separately controlled rotation and vibration. The material is soft and flexible, and while it isn't the safest it at least does not have a smell. You can even take this beaver down under...the water!

The material for the Black Diamond is mostly jelly. Seriously, it has got to be some of the nicest jelly I have had for a toy. It barely has any smell as all and while it is porous, it is also phthalates free. It does have a lot of drag and requires lubricant for comfortable insertion, but it isn't sticky. The head of the vibrator is solid jelly and is very plush. The middle portion is thin but seems very resilient. It allows for the rotating beads to be felt appropriately.

The picture makes the look darker than it is. The name even suggests that it is black, but actually it is more of a semi see through dark gray. The bottom of the vibrator is made of a velvety matte plastic which is quite nice. The plastic also feels of higher quality than other toys of similar design.

Compared to other traditionally designed rabbit vibes, this one is mild in size. It is 10" long, but the insertable portion is only about 4 1/2" which is not much for those who like thrusting. The head is phallic and a bit peculiar because it has a little woman's face on the underside (the phallic shape becomes her bob hair cut). It is 1 1/2" long and 4 1/2" in circumference. The next section of the shaft is about another 1/2" down where the three rows of rotating beads are. It is a bit thinner. I much more prefer this type of rotating beads to the loose ones. For those who need more vaginal stimulation this is the money maker.

Then...the attachment. This is thee weirdest animal attachment I have ever used or even seen. Not only is it a beaver, but it is sticking its tongue out! This rapidly vibrates and is designed for clitoral stimulation. Underneath the beavers chin is a patch with a bunch of little nubs for extra stimulation. If you rest this on your clit, the tongue will hit your clitoral hood. The majority of the vibrator has a smooth texture except for the beaver attachment which has a rippled texture that is supposed to hair. It doesn't do anything though since this part is not insertable.

The rest of the vibrator is the handle, control pad, and battery compartment. There are two rows of clear jewels that looks very pretty against the black. The control pad isn't my favorite since the buttons don't stick out much at all. There is also no different distinctions between the buttons, so you can easily get lost. There are also LED lights to indicate what speeds you are on. On either side of the control pad are deep ribs which are awesome for keeping this vibe in your hand and keeping control of the rotation. The bottom screws off to have a clear plastic piece slide out. Three AA batteries are needed.

The Black Diamond has two separately controlled features. The first is the clitoral attachment vibrator. All of the settings are steady vibrations.

1. The vibration already starts off higher than average in strength, but the tongue seems to not move all that much. It is also loud right away as well, when in contact with the body, this is dampened.
2. The vibrations are much stronger and the tongue can visibly seen going up and down. This was my favorite level.
3. Much too intense for my wee clit! Power hungry clits, will likely appreciate this settings

The second feature is the shaft rotation of which there are also three settings. Fast, faster, and speedy! These are much faster than my other rabbit vibrator and are probably the main reason for this guzzling batteries quicker also. There is also an additional button to reverse the rotation.

It is waterproof as well, but I have no design to use a toy of this design in a shower or tub so I didn't test it this way. The design does look and feel waterproof though. After inspecting the seals they all looked good and comparable toys I have successfully used in water. I have had no problems cleaning this toy under running water.

The Black Diamond is easy to care for. Since it is porous, you need to use condoms when sharing. It can be cleaned with warm water and soap as well as a toy cleaner. When choosing lubes, water or silicone based are good options. When storing, make sure it is in a cool dark place because it can melt. Also make sure to not have it come in contact with other materials. This can also cause melting. It is best to store it in the box it comes in.

I love this box! Why? It doesn't have a naked or half naked woman on it, it is made of plastic not cardboard, and it is not much larger than the toy at all. It is clear and black. In the front it displays the toy through a clear pane and the back shows an image of the toy and has some explanations of its use and design. There are no additional instructions.

This is my favorite traditional rabbit vibe. I love that the rotations are fast but they are in a smaller circle than other making this toy easy to hold onto and control. The material is great for being jelly and the vibrations are super strong. The design also provides good g-spot stimulation. I recommend it to anyone who has not tried a rabbit vibe or has been disappointed by them in the past. I'll just say that this vibrator exceeded my expectations in all ways!
