We've tried toys similar to this one in the past, but most are either too bulky to fit right or not strong enough to truly be functional; therefore, most have been "one and done". The idea is, of course, to have hands-free clitoral stimulation during intercourse while providing g-spot stimulation and a little extra buzz for his penis as well. The Harmony promised to have a thinner approach to the insertable part while producing strong vibes throughout....we'll see!

The toy itself came in a cute box, professionally packed. I'm a sucker for such things; I think subconsciously, I feel, "if they put that much effort into the presentation, they must have put even more into the design." Included in the box were the actual toy, charging cable, instructions, and a nice bag to keep things organized. I immediately thought how easy it would be to travel with this!



I took the toy out and was actually surprised it wasn't bigger. Shown here, it is lying next to a AA battery and a traditional bullet-style vibe. Whereas the previously mentioned similar toys we tried were larger, bulkier, and very floppy, this one seems smaller and better-built. Even the curved portion feels more substantial, although it is still flexible.



On the larger side, the clitoral stimulator, there is a flat, shiny panel with a magnetic charging port at the base. Charging is simple, just plug the USB cord in, and the magnetic charger attaches firmly.



Just above the magnetic charging port is a small power button...easy to miss if you don't look closely! To activate the toy, you need to push this in and hold it for a few seconds. When you see the pretty blue light, you know the toy is in standby mode.



There are two ways of controlling the toy. First, you can use it without the remote. After the toy is in standby mode, simply push the power button to cycle through patterns and intensities. Second, you can use the included remote. You may notice in the picture above that the remote comes with a plastic tab to keep the battery fresh. To remove this tab, you slide the door of the battery compartment off (back of the remote) and simply pull the plastic from underneath the battery. The remote has two buttons, power, and pattern. To use the remote, the toy still has to be activated into standby mode by pushing the button above the magnetic charging port. Then you can use the power and pattern buttons on the remote to activate it.

We turned the Harmony on and cycled through the various patterns and strengths before inserting it. The vibrations are strong, probably more intense on the clitoral section, but pretty strong on the insertable portion too. A little water-based lube and the slim g-spot portion slipped right in and seemed to sit right where it needed to be. The curve allows the clitoral vibe to settle between the labia nicely, too, resting against my clit. I found that I couldn't move the clit portion around much without also moving the entire toy, but I could alternately press it harder and softer and definitely got a response!

Now to test the toy out with my hubby inside me. We chose to spoon, allowing me to keep a hand on the clitoral vibe. I was pretty turned on by this point, and he slipped right inside. Having him inside seemed to push the toy against my g-spot a little firmer, which was very nice. He later told me that the vibrations were not that strong on his penis, but he certainly never complained about anything! The curve in the toy is stronger than previously tried similar toys, but I still found with him thrusting, the clitoral piece would slide off my clit if I didn't keep some pressure on it. This was a small price to pay for a great mutual orgasm, however!
