Silver six - bullet discontinued by Shaki Toys - review by married with children

Lets start off with stating this toy was a free gift with my order. It is not something that would be of interest to me for purchase. With that being said, lets get to the review.

The silver six is made from plastic. The power unit holds 2 AA batteries. Mine came in a reddish color, not blue like in the picture. The unit is controlled with a simple slider. The power unit is attached to the vibrator by a 2 foot long power cord. The power cord feels like it is attached pretty good to the vibrator. I do not believe it will come use with regular type play.

The vibrator is also made of plastic. It is chromed plated. It is about 5 inches long. It has 6 small bulges, which extend about 3 3/4 inches from the tip. The diameter is about 3/4 inch. There is not a big difference between the widest portion and the thinnest portion of the bulges. There is a seem running up both sides of the vibrator. It can not be felt with a finger for the first 4 bulges, but after those it gets bad. You can really feel the seem in the bottom half. So much so I would be really worried about sticking it in your sensitive areas. Remember, it is chrome platted, not soft rubber or silicone. It can do some damage.

The vibrations are shallow and week. Very high pitched sounding and feeling. I do not anticipate the motor lasting more then a handful of uses. It has a cheap feel to it.

For cleaning I would recommend wiping it down with a toy cleaning cloth or some toy cleaner. Or use a condom with every use. No special storage is required. Just throw it in the drawer after use. It comes in a plastic case. You can use it for storage, but it is on the larger side.

Ours broke after a few uses. Good thing it was a free toy with my order. We where just getting to a point where we were finding a use for this cheap toy. And the motor stopped working. I would not suggest buying this at full price. Ours could have just been a lemon, but I highly doubt it.

I find it best to stay away from cheap toys. Not that I am a toy snob, I am just tired of the cheap toys breaking after little use. This one has fallen into that category. If I had purchased it, I would have sent it back to eden for a refund.
