Waterproof crystal flex - sex toy by Cal Exotics - review by Shelli

The Crystal Flex, waterproof, flexible, vibrating, triple stimulator is, in my opinion, best suited for solo play whether alone or with an audience. The 1 1/2" diameter main shaft may be a bit much for beginners; however, the thin, tapering from the shaft to the head, anal attachment would be suitable for beginners and advanced users that just want a little tease in their back door, while the clitoral attachment is suitable for all.

I've shared many good times in the shower with this handy little 3-fer without any problems. Not only do I tend to have more fun in the shower with my toys, but it makes clean up easier and the noise of the shower helps keep my play time between me, myself, and I, as it's rather on the loud side, especially on its highest setting.

I wouldn't exactly call the Crystal Flex "travel friendly", but then, hey, if you can bury it in a suitcase, go for it.

All parts of Crystal Flex are made of a smooth, comfortable, jelly and the shaft, along with both attachments feature a smooth, swirled ridge for added sensation. The shaft, along with the anal attachment, and to a degree, the clitoral attachment, are flexible, making it possible to personalize your experience. Considering the overall comfort factor, I'd recommend Crystal Flex to both beginners and advanced users.

Like with all jelly toys, the Crystal Flex does come with a slight rubbery odor, but it's not too obtrusive and after a couple of washes and uses, I didn't notice the smell anymore.

Overall, I do like the design. I like the bigger girth of the main shaft, but I'm sure not all would agree. Potential buyers should definitely take the girth of the shaft into consideration before purchasing.

The wide swirls with smooth ridges along the shaft, anal and clitoral attachments are an added plus, for sure. I feel the ridges on the anal attachment especially, which, given the slimness of this attachment, helps give it more of a stimulating effect.

Given Crystal Flex's 9" length (5" of which are insertable) and protruding attachments, I would not call this toy discreet or suitable for travel (unless you can bury it in a full suitcase).

Crystal Flex is a pleasing, translucent silver color with some sparkles added, giving it somewhat of a futuristic look.

Crystal Flex contains two 2" long bullets. One bullet takes up 2" of the clitoral attachment, which ends in a 3/4" long vibrating tip which is simply delicious. The other bullet is located in middle of the main shaft, underneath which is 2" of flexible material which you can see and above the bullet is the nearly 2" long, bulbous, soft, head. All in all, simply mmm..mmm..good.

The main shaft and the clitoral attachments both vibrate quite nicely (if a bit loudly, especially on high), with low to high settings on the easy twist control located at the bottom, beneath the battery case. Since the anal attachment does not have a bullet, you only feel the slightest movement from it once inside, but the feeling the swirls give you help make up for that. The anal attachment is 4" in length with approximately 3" of insertable length. It's thin, with about 1/2" width at the base of the tapered tip and 3/4" width at the end of its insertable length. Unfortunately, the only way to get all of the anal attachment's insertable length inside of you is to also have the entire insertable length of the shaft inside of you, which forces the rather unyielding clitoral bullet against you along with the vibrating tip, which you may not necessarily want at that moment. Using Crystal Flex this way, the only way I found to avoid the clitoral attachment problem is to bend the flexible jelly at the base of the bullet away from me; however, the jelly connecting the clitoral attachment to the base doesn't look like it's going to take much of this abuse before it splits.

I found that if I wanted to get the most of the insertable length of the shaft without having the clitoral attachment rammed against me is to use it backwards. In this way, the anal attachment, which, being much softer and giving because it doesn't contain a bullet, is tickling my clitoral area while the clitoral attachment is giving my anal entrance a nice buzz and I get to enjoy the full benefits of the swirled, thick, vibrating shaft inside of me. It's a win/win/win!

I've tried using the flexible material to bend the shaft in order to hit my g-spot, but to no avail. Bending it different ways gives me different, enjoyable sensations, but alas, it seems I am not to have a g-spot orgasm with Crystal Flex.

Crystal Flex takes 3 AAA batteries in its black, hard plastic battery compartment located at the bottom of the vibrator. The waterproof battery compartment screws in and out with an audible click to let you know that it's secure or unsecured.

I've used my Crystal Flex repeatedly in the shower with no ill effects which is great, because I love shower play the best.

The Crystal Flex, being jelly and therefore not sterilizable, should not be used with multiple people unless covered with a condom.

Clean Crystal Flex with warm water and toy cleaner or a mild anti-bacterial soap. Since this vibrator is waterproof, you don't have to worry about that aspect when cleaning it.

Water or silicone based lubes can be used with this jelly vibrator, giving you a little more variety over lubes that can be used with silicone toys.

This toy should be stored in a cool, dark place, and not put into contact with non-jelly toys as your jelly toy could potentially harm any toy of non-jelly variety.

Since I purchased Crystal Flex awhile ago, I don't remember much of the packaging or instructions except to say that I remember each as minimal. However, even without instructions, Crystal Flex is easy to operate. When you take the top off of the battery compartment, you'll see that each of the three battery slots is marked negative or positive. So, if you've put your batteries in as illustrated and twisted and clicked the battery cover firmly into place, you should be able to twist the bottom control to your desired vibration and off you go!

I do wish that Crystal Flex came with separate controls for the shaft and clitoral attachment bullets because there are times that I'd like the shaft bullet to be on high but the clitoral bullet to be on low/medium or off. But, I make due with what I have and as I described above, I just turn Crystal Flex around and use her backwards.

So far, I've only used Crystal Flex in the shower, usually starting with one leg up. If I'm going to use the anal attachment for the purpose it was designed for, once I've got the shaft buzzing inside me, getting me nice and wet while the clitoral stimulator does its job, I gently nudge the tapered tip of the anal attachment inside and then depending on how much shaft I have inside of me, is how much of the anal attachment is inside also. It doesn't take long for the three sensations going at once for me to make orbit.
