The Vibrating Tongue Ring is a fun little toy. It is shaped like a tongue, which makes it ideal for clitoral stimulation. However, it could be used just about anywhere on the body for surface stimulation: nipples, penis, and other erogenous zones. As a result, this toy is ideal for couples to use on one another or solo play.

Because the toy is not waterproof, I caution against getting it too wet. It wouldn't work well in a tub, shower or pool.

I did have some problems with the design and function of this toy, but I outline those a little later in the review.

The vibrating tongue ring is made out of TPR silicone. The texture is smooth, but sometimes fuzz, lint and hair will stick to the silicone because it can sometimes have a slightly sticky feel to it. The ring is nice. It is very stretchy and has ridging on the inside of it so that it can gain traction on skin (or another toy, as I note below).

It doesn't have much in the way of an odor or a taste, which is good considering one of the supposed uses is on your tongue.

My favorite part about the texture and material of the toy is that it is incredibly flexible and stretchy.

The design for this vibrator is simple and elegant. It is shaped like a tongue, which is very nice when used for clitoral stimulation. However, as I note a little lower in the review, the ring is slightly flawed, which led to only one use for the "tongue" ring.

My favorite part of the design on this toy is that it is small. Because it is really quiet and fits well on a finger (or two), I found that the toy is incredibly useful for discreet clitoral stimulation. I could probably use this toy in the same room as another person without them noticing. And better still, it's small enough that I could stash it just about anywhere (especially when traveling).

This toy is amazingly powerful for its diminutive size. However, there are a few problems I found with its performance and vibration.

First of all, there's only one setting. So you get whatever it puts out. And since the vibrations are powerful, anyone with a more sensitive erogenous zone might find the sensation a little overwhelming.

Second, this toy utterly fails at serving as a tongue ring. Even with the grips on the inside of the ring, the vibrator slides right off my tongue. I even tried drying my tongue off a little first. It didn't make a difference: my tongue is simply too wet for the toy to get traction. However, it works great on a finger. Although I found that it actually worked better if I put my first and middle fingers through the ring to stabilize it. So the use isn't very versatile, and certainly isn't as advertised. On thing to mention here: the ring is stretchy enough that it could fit over a dildo, adding a little extra something to another toy.

At the very least, the toy is easy to use: you slide the button to on, and go. Simple.

This vibrating tongue ring is made out of TPR silicone. Clean-up is pretty simple: just make sure to wash it with antibacterial soap and warm water (or toy cleaner) before and after use. Sharing is probably okay as long as you make sure to clean it thoroughly both before and after using it.

Storage is pretty easy. I find that the silicone tends to attract fuzz and lint, so I would recommend keeping it in a storage case or toy box that is either unlined or lined with a smooth fabric, like silk.

The packaging for this toy was really simple: just plastic and cardboard. It's pretty obvious what the toy is, and there are even illustrations on the back demonstrating two different uses for the toy (strapped on a finger and strapped on a tongue). The packaging is definitely not reusable for toy storage, but it is recyclable. I guess that's something, at least!
