So, you have any brothers? A... TWIN?!

Gemini is a high-quality, yet simple silicone vibe. Fairly powerful, but also pretty quiet. As a twist dial, Gemini is also easy to use for beginning users. The girth on the lower half may scare some off, but the top half is useable by itself as a smaller vibe. For those looking for a silicone vibe that can double as a dildo, I highly recommend Gemini. He's not waterproof, so you have to be careful cleaning.
The silicone has a fantastic feeling to it. I must say that I've fallen in love.
Soft, velvety material; silicone; size taper- good for intro & advanced users
One kind of vibration; a bit girthy for some; not waterproof

extremely useful review

Gemini, while clearly a sex toy, can also work as a body massager. I've used him on my shoulders for decent results (the only problems were my arm getting tired from holding him up there in the right spot and my arm starting to tingle from holding the vibrator).

Gemini is designed to be useable internally, and since it's made of silicone, you don't have to worry about bacteria growing in any pores. Gemini is not safe for anal use (no flared bottom), but fantastic for vaginal. The vibrations are right in the middle of the vibe, where the size changes, so Gemini is good for G-Spot stimulation. If you prefer smaller vibes, you can just insert the top portion and still enjoy good stimulation from the vibrations. You can still use him on your clit, if you hold him externally and rub against him.

Gemini is also great for long distance relationships with webcams! Unlike my black vibe, my boyfriend can very clearly see Gemini when I'm playing with myself. Needless to say, Gemini is good for low resolution webcams.

Material / Texture

This vibe is made with 100% food-grade material. As silicone, it's also hypo-allergenic, latex free, non-porous, and phthalates free. Also, he came straight out of the box completely odorless and tasteless. But a note for those who haven't gotten silicone toys before- silicone toys will collect dust and lint, so store him somewhere safe!

Gemini has a smooth, soft, velvety feel to him. There is slight texture from the hands, but otherwise it is smooth. The silicone is flexible and has plenty of give, but without being "squishy" or anything, a very pleasing feel overall.
    • Flexible
    • No odor
    • Not porous at all

Design / Shape / Size

Gemini isn't very discrete you can tell it's a vibe. Plus, he's bright yellow (the pictures make him look more like a pastel yellow; he's actually a buttercup yellow) and a bit big. Since the twist cap on the bottom is bright red, it's very clear that it's a dial; this makes it even more obvious that this is a vibrator.

Size-wise, Gemini, in a way, incorporates beginners and advanced users. He starts off smaller then increases to a fairly considerable girth. The vibrations are in the middle of the vibe, right where the size change occurs, so even if you're starting small, you can still feel the vibrations.

But since I don't really care how discrete a vibe is; that doesn't matter to me. Just thought I'd include it.

I personally, LOVE Gemini. The artful portrayal of the hands is cute to me, but still seems elegant. It's a minimalist design, but still clear.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The controls are simple-- a twist dial on the bottom of the toy. It's bright red, whereas the battery case is black, so the dial is pretty hard to miss.
When I was twisting the cap back on, the dial turned as well, so Gemini started vroom-ing right then. That's not to say the dial is easy to turn; the dial turns easily when you want it to, but you still have to MOVE it to change it. Unintentional twisting is not going to happen by running the vibe across your jeans.

Since it's a twist dial, there's no real variety in vibrations. You twist to turn it on, twist more to increase the strength, and untwist to turn it off. Nothing fancy here.

The vibrations are located halfway up the toy, right where the thinner part tapers into the thicker portion. I was surprised when trying this toy out, since I'm used to vibrations at the bottom of the toy. It was pleasant to find that the vibrations got stronger as my hand went up the toy. Considering how strong these vibrations were, I was also pleasantly surprised at how quiet Gemini was.
    • Discreet sound
    • Easy to use

Care and Maintenance

Since Gemini is made of 100% silicone, it's easy to care for. Just wash in warm, soapy water. But be careful-- Gemini isn't waterproof, so don't get any water in the battery casing. The silicone shaft is glued to the battery case--very well, might I add. I had to pry a LOT just to get an edge up to see if it was glued down or not. This means that, unless you want a long, hard battle, you can't just remove the silicone top, so boiling to sterilize is out of the question (unless you want to just hold to dip Gemini in; you can't just throw him in because he isn't waterproof).

For storage, since Gemini is 100% silicone, you need to store him away from other toys. Store him in a place that's free of dust. In fact, his box works perfectly for storing him (even if it wasn't intended for that purpose).
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

This is probably the most classy packaging I've encountered (please note that I only have 5 vibes, so not much experience here).
The box Gemini came in isn't clearly intended to be used for storage, but the simplicity of it makes it quite convenient. There are two layers- the paperboard outer layer, and the inner plastic layer, which holds the vibe itself. The plastic layer just opens right up, like a book; none of those little snap-in-place dots or anything. Just unfold, place vibe in, close, and slide back into the box! Very nifty.

The paperboard outer layer actually has flaps with magnets (oooh, fancy!) that have all different languages on it.
    • Not discreet
    • Very informative

Personal comments

Since this is my first silicone toy, I'm probably a bit over-excited about Gemini. I just can't get over the feeling of the toy- how soft and supple it is! I'm in love!

But, like I said, I'm probably a bit biased on that. Still, for those who don't have a silicone toy, I HIGHLY recommend splurging and getting one, or waiting for a sale. Silicone just feels so fantastic!
Follow-up commentary
I absolutely LOVE this vibe. Apart from the little dial I complained about in the review (I just ignore it by not using batteries at all, so it's not an issue) and the lack of waterproofing, this is a fantastic vibe. My boyfriend particularly loves it (long distance, we use Skype webcam) because the bright yellow is really clear in the webcam. And I STILL haven't gotten over the wonderful velvety texture.
I'd love to update to a 5/5, but this will stay at a 4/5 because of how annoying it is to clean since it lacks waterproofing. But I still LOVE it!
