This toy is well worth the $45 tag, and using it in the shower is wonderful! Highly recommended! One of the best purchases I've made in months, and I've had this toy for going on a year!

Use

The Waterproof silicone splash is, hands down, the best vibrator I've used to date. It has the strongest vibrations of any vibrator I've found, and is excellent for both vaginal and clitoral stimulation. It's on the larger end, though not at all uncomfortable. I might not recommend this for a total novice, as it can be rather intense, and if one has never used a vibrator before, it might be a bit on the scary side. That having been said, don't let it intimidate you! After one use, it'll be your new favorite!

Material / Texture

Being allergic to so many other materials makes me appreciate TPR silicone! I would recommend the material for anyone, from the most shy of beginners to the most advanced vibrator connoisseur.

Design / Shape / Size

I would like to see the tail angled enough to provide external anal stimulation, rather than being just a pretty decoration. I also would like to see the insertable part/larger dolphin facing the other direction to give better G-spot stimulation. However, those two things don't come close to detracting from the incredible vibrations this toy gives! It's also quite large, so for those who enjoy a more "full" feeling, this is definitely the toy for you!

The battery life does leave something to be desired, as the 4 double A's only last through maybe 4 uses at full power, and although they do provide enough to get a few more uses out of it, the power level is noticeably lowered, so definitely plan on having rechargeable batteries, and lots of them!

It has decent controls, though I wish I could easily turn it off from the highest setting, rather then having to cycle it back down through the lower settings. The buttons are located on the handle, and are easy enough to find, though figuring out which ones control which motor can be difficult when otherwise distracted! I have had no problems using it in the shower, haven't tried it in a bath, though I don't see it having any difficulties.

Care and Maintenance

Hot water and mild antibacterial soap (Dial) have been my cleaners of choice for most of my toys. The recommended lubricant for all silicone is water based, but, yet again, I'm allergic to the glycerin in water based lubes, so I have used a silicone based lube with no problems.

Follow-up commentary I still like it 8 months after original review

After using this toy in a bath once, it started acting up, having extreme difficulties getting both motors running. I pulled out the batteries, let it dry out, and the next time it worked fine. The second time I took it in the bath... Yeah, I should have learned the first time, right?! Now, however, I can only turn on one motor at a time, and the internal one only if I'm really lucky, and manage to hold down the power button for it for *just* the right amount of time, and it then turns off as soon as I try to get the clit one going.

That having been said, this was my favorite toy for the better part of the past two-ish years, and I haven't decided yet whether I'm going to try to replace it with a totally different one, or just get another and not take it in the bath with me!
