Hot Affair arrived along with a bunch of other toys in a white nondescript package. There was no protective paper, but the toy itself arrived undamaged. Upon opening the little baggie pictured above (I've never seen a sex toy arrive in something like this before?), I was faced with the contents:


We get the Hot Affair, a remote, USB charging cable, and an instruction sheet. It does not come with a storage pouch. The toy's silicone is silky smooth, I like the color, and it came pre-charged. Because I was looking forward to other toys when the package arrived, I set the Hot Affair aside. Its turn would come at a later point in time.

First use with the Hot Affair was solo. I was horny, wanted to get chores out of the way, and based on my experiences with Connection Sweet Secret (review), I felt like Hot Affair seemed like a good idea.


Hot Affair comes with a little magnet, you see. That little white circle is a pretty strong one. You use it to keep the toy in place. I settled Hot Affair against myself, pulled my underwear up, and turned it on. Immediately, I knew that chores would be impossible. But not because of pleasure, actually.

Unlike Connection Sweet Secret (CSS), Hot Affair's "mouth" isn't as comfortable. It's rather thin and digs into the skin around my clit. I've provided comparison photos - CSS's mouth is a little more rounded/flat, and that's important because while you're moving, that silicone is a bit firm and will press against you, and for me, that proved a bit too distracting/painful.




I ended up just sitting at my desk, holding the Hot Affair in place, and gently grinding it against me until I came. The orgasm was average.

Further experiences only drove the nail in deeper. That clit portion is NOT comfortable. The silicone is very firm and thin, and the result is that I can't really use it as it's meant to be used - as a panty vibrator. I have to use it as a dual-stim vibrator instead. Also, the vibrations are extremely buzzy. If you've never felt a buzzy vibration before, this one is textbook perfect. I do not favor buzzy vibrations as they leave my nethers numb.



Can this toy make me cum? Yeah, and pretty consistently too, but the orgasms and the "road" to get to them could be better. I have other toys I'd prefer to use over this one. I quite like the little protrusion that teases my entrance but isn't like... true penetration. Leaves me wanting more. It's good as a toy for teasing/foreplay, I suppose, but I'd rather get my climax with a different toy.


The USB charging cable is okay. The magnet is very weak, and sometimes the cable disconnects during charging. You need to be careful not to disconnect it by accident.

So the way this toy works is a bit different from what I'm used to. I stopped writing controls some time ago, but this time I'll make an exception. They're included in the instruction sheet, but I'll write them below.

As mentioned previously - the vibration quality is VERY buzzy. This makes me go numb, and I'm not a fan of it. The pressure-waves feel a bit shallow, but they get the job done.

Orgasms with Hot Affair are alright, if not slightly below average. You get what you pay for. Again, because of the toy's shape, I'm unable to use it as intended - i.e., in public, with it attached to my underwear. Part of me wonders if I'd be able to hold a straight face. Still, my statement stands - the "mouth", or clit portion, is too firm/thin to be "worn" comfortably. Connection Sweet Secret is better suited for that purpose, even though I wouldn't be able to take two steps. As such, I'm reduced to using Hot Affair like a normal vibe, at home.
