Pearl passion tempt - traditional vibrator discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by This Is For The Birds

Use: The Pearl Passion Tempt is a traditional vibrator. It could be used for partner or solo use, for penetration or just clit stimulation. This toy is not something I would recommend using for anal use since it does not have a flared base. I would recommend this toy for more of a beginner user or a user who likes their toys more on the smaller side.

Material/Texture: The pearl passion tempt is made from TPR with a plastic base. The EF safety rating for TPR ranks in at a 7. TPR is hypoallergenic, non toxic and phthalates free. TPR is a porous material, so if using I would recommend using a toy cover or condom. The texture of this toy is smooth and has somewhat of a squishy and flexible feel to it in the tip. However, it isn't something that can be bent very far.

Design/Shape: The design of this toy is very simple. Since it is a traditional vibrator, it is straight. The top is slightly pointed and the bottom half of this toy has a nice ribbed design that adds to the vibrations.

Size: This is a fairly small toy, which is why it would make a great beginner toy or more for someone who prefers toys a little on the smaller side. The total length of this toy is 6" with an insertable length of 4.5". The circumference of this toy is about 3.5", making this toy to be a pretty average sized toy.

Functions/Controls: The Pearl Passion Tempt only has two vibrating speeds: high and low. The vibrations can be felt throughout the toy. I feel that the high is not overpowering, and the low is not low enough to where the vibrations can not be felt. It would be nice if the toy had a speed in between, but overall, both speeds set this toy off very well. Both speeds and the power are controlled by one button that is on the base of this toy. I find that the button is in a wonderful spot compared to other toys where the button is on the bottom of the toy.

Performance: Overall, I liked this toy. It had a great feel to it and the vibrations of it were very nice. I did not seem to have a problem using this without any lube. I felt that it slid in and out very nicely, and the overall size of it was great, for me at least. I like the smaller sized toys since I am a petite sized lady.

Care and Maintenance: This toy is made of TPR, so it can not be sterilized in boiling water. This toy will have to be cleaned with some warm water and soap or an antibacterial toy cleaner, which in my book is perfectly fine. With that being said, I don't feel like this toy has a high maintenance value to it. I would suggest maybe keeping it with other toys of the same material or by itself seeing how it might attract lint.
