Inspire dual exciter attachment - vibrator accessory discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by Breas

The Dual Exciter attachment is an accessory made for the Couture Collection Inspire wand. It’s a great attachment to use when you are looking for a different type of stimulation/massage from the wand. I’ve tried one other Inspire attachment (the Triple Tease), and I prefer this one to the other. You may notice that this review is similar to the other attachment that I have reviewed because of their similarities.

The Dual Exciter attachment arrived in a semi-transparent, plastic packaging. The packaging would be good for storing the attachment when not in use, but it is not necessary. You can see the product through the front of the packaging. The front also states the brand, product name, and a few features of the attachment. The back of the package has a brief description of the product, company contact information, and the same information from the front of the packaging.



I just love the colour of the attachment! It’s a soft lavender colour (light purple). The attachment is made of silicone and is very smooth. When running the attachment across my body, I did not notice any drag. If you choose to use lubricant with this attachment, be sure to use water-based lubricants only. I’ve taken a few measurements of the Dual Exciter attachment. If you need additional measurements, feel free to send me a message and I can get them for you.

There is a very subtle seam line that runs along the sides of the attachment and on the stems. The seam line cannot be felt when used internally or externally. The stems on the attachment are very flexible. I found that the attachment felt amazing for clitoral stimulation, but you can use the attachment however you’d like. You could insert the stem(s), but they are very short and thin; they do nothing for me internally. The attachment is also excellent to use for massaging. My partner preferred the default head on the wand, but this one worked quite well too.



The stems on the attachment are not hollow, but they do carry the vibrations quite well. Since both stems are of equal size, the vibrations spread to both stems equally rather than one stem over the other. The vibrations can be felt even at the tips of the stems.

The Dual Exciter attachment was specifically made for the Inspire wand, but it can also be used on wands of the same size. The circumference of the base of the attachment is exactly 5 inches. The attachment has grooves on the inside that secure itself to the wand’s head. Below is a photo of the inside of the attachment, which will show these grooves.



To clean the attachment, you can use soap and water, toy cleaner, or toy wipes. The attachment can also be fully disinfected by boiling it, bleaching it, or throwing it in the dishwasher. You can share the attachment without condoms, but be sure to sterilize the attachment each time.

Overall, I rate this attachment a 5 out of 5. Not only did it feel fantastic for clitoral stimulation, but it works wonderfully for massaging purposes as well. The fact that the attachment is silicone, flexible, and can be fully disinfected is lovely as well. If you are looking for a new attachment for your wand, I would highly recommend the Dual Exciter!

Out of the three heads for the Couture Inspire, this is still my second favourite. I prefer the rounded head (the default head) because I am able to apply pressure much easier with it, though this is much more exciting to me then the Triple Tease attachment. I've used the Dual Exciter attachment a few times since my review, and I would still highly recommend it!
