The Sentinel stands ready to offer a great variety of features for an anal plug.

The entire plug is made of silicone, which makes it easy to clean and sterilize (boiling or a 10% bleach solution). The bulb is stiffer than the 'tail' of the plug. Vibrations run from the inserted bullet in the bulb all the way down to the ball at the end of the soft tail.

With many products a big complaint is that the removable vibrating bullets are hard to pull out, or that they get stuck. The Sentinel comes with a bullet key to prevent that from happening. It still takes a bit of maneuvering, but once you get the hang of it the bullet is quite easy to remove.

However, I did encounter some problems with the provided bullet. Firstly, always make sure the bullet is pushed completely down into the bullet hole. At one point I didn't have it pushed all the way in and let's just say it wasn't in any way comfortable. Secondly, the bullet died fairly quickly, after only two uses. The included bullet is small; the average bullet is larger and won't fit into the hole in the product - so when the enclosed bullet dies you won't be able to just shove your favorite in.

The Sentinel is designed for both male and female use. The tail is supposed to stimulate the clitoris on a female and the perineum/prostate on a male. I found it wasn't long enough for clitoral stimulation on me but it did work for my boyfriend. Since it's silicone, it can even be shared between partners after sterilization.

Overall it's a well-made, quality product. The vibrations are soft but nice, it's very filling, and there's no risk of it slipping too far inside. The tail could be a bit longer but it does carry the vibrations.

This plug didn't personally do much for me. My boyfriend, however, found that it gave him a more intense orgasm while wearing it.

Upon my later inspection I found that the batteries were not dead. The bullet takes two small replaceable batteries (watch-type). The cover doesn't seal, only closes like the back of a remote control. Some of the lubricant must have slid down into the battery compartment and temporarily killed the batteries - so when you use this product try to keep your lube away from the bullet.
