The Ultimate Disappointment!

Jenna's Ultimate Stroker is a very powerful rabbit vibe with an excellent concept. Unfortunately, that concept falls flat in its execution. It's smelly, heavy, hard to figure out and use, and not easily hidden. This toy is best reserved for the advanced toy users with an incredible amount of patience. Overall, a very disappointing toy.

Use

Jenna's Ultimate Stroker is a "rabbit"-type vibrator. The standard, phallic shaped portion is designed to be inserted into the vagina. The butterfly-shaped attachment is meant to stimulate the clitoris. This rabbit vibe is a little more "high tech" than a regular rabbit vibe, though; it thrusts. It's also safe for anal use (just be sure to use a LOT of lube if you choose to use it that way). Wow! A rabbit vibe that thrusts! Amazing concept, right?

Only in theory.

This vibe has a LOT of flaws, all of which I will expand upon further along in this review. I really would not recommend this toy to beginners, mainly because it's so goddamn difficult to figure out how to use. The batteries are a right pain in the ass to put in. The vibe itself is really heavy; it is definitely not the toy for those with carpal tunnel, arthritis, or any condition that affects the body from the fingertips to the shoulder.

This thing is LOUD as well. Seriously. It's sounds like I'm jack hammering concrete in my bedroom. I had the door shut, fan and TV on and two duvets on my bed to try to cover up the sound. Even then, I winced all throughout using it. I was terrified that my parents and siblings whom I live with would be awoken from their slumber (and they sleep like rocks). Nothing is more arousing than trying to masturbate with something that sounds like an airplane taking off, and all the while fearing that someone will burst into you room and say "What the HELL is that?!"

I really would only recommend this to people who live alone or only with their partner. This is most definitely NOT the toy to own if you have kids, roommates or live in a place with thin walls (a dorm, for example). Technically, you could travel with it, but it's so heavy that traveling with this thing would be downright annoying. Overall, my personal recommendation is to advanced users only. Toy users that have a great deal of patience, an empty house and a tolerance for an extreme amount of volume from their toys.

Material / Texture

The red Jenna's Ultimate Stroker is made from jelly (also called jelly rubber). It has a rating of two on the Material Safety Index. Jelly is extremely porous. Even if you wash it well before and after use (which you absolutely MUST do), it can still harbor bacteria and other nasty things. It also smells gross. This toy smells especially bad. I was greeted with an awful scent right upon removing it from the package. It smelled like a combination of chemicals and cherry cough syrup. It literally made me gag. No other toy of mine has smelled that bad. Even my first rabbit vibe, which I still own, smells this bad. The smell was probably due to the phthalates in the rubber. I don't know if there's a taste to this toy. I wasn't about to put something that almost made me vomit from the smell into my mouth.

On the upside, the jelly material is soft and has give. It feels comfortable when inserted as long as you use plenty of lube (water-based or silicone). It has ribbed and nubby texture to it and is good for advanced users who like texture on their toys. Personally, the only texture I noticed was the ribs and I didn't even like them. They didn't feel too comfortable upon withdrawing the shaft from my vagina; it felt as if the canal had sucked them in and I had to really pull to remove it. Not fun. It didn't hurt, but it was bothersome. Again, I definitely would NOT recommend this toy to beginners.

A VERY important note: if you want to share this, USE A CONDOM. I cannot stress this enough, because jelly toys CANNOT be sterilized. Please, play safe.

Design / Shape / Size

This vibrator is big - a LOT bigger than I expected it to be. Jenna's Ultimate Stroker is 10.75 inches in total length with an insertable length of 5.5 inches. It is five inches in circumference, and roughly 1.62 inches in diameter. The vibe weighs a whopping one pound.

Jenna's ultimate stroker has the classic rabbit vibe design: a shaft portion for insertion and a clitoral attachment. In this case, the clit attachment is shaped like a butterfly (or possibly a bee), not a rabbit. This vibe has two motors in it. One is in the clit attachment and the other is in the shaft. The shaft is textured with ribs and nubs and rotating pleasure beads are located within the shaft. The red shaft/clit attachment are attached to a red control box. On the back of the control box is the battery compartment with a removable cover.

Because of the size, this toy is neither easy to hide, nor easy to travel with. It won't fit in my Devine Toy Lace Box and it's even too large to cram in the dresser with my clothes. Right now, I have to store in the box it was shipped in. Unless you have a large toy chest or a free drawer somewhere that's big enough, that's how I'd suggest storing it. The sheer size and weight of it make this one of the worst toys to travel with.

As I've stated above, this thing is LOUD. I don't even really want to use it much because of that. Who wants to wake up the other occupants of the household at two in the morning? Again, this toy is NOT beginner-friendly.

Functions / Performance / Controls

Here's where it gets really confusing. Two arrows control the speed of the vibration and the rotation/thrusting of the shaft. The three buttons control a preset series of vibration/rotation/thrusting patterns. I didn't know this at first. Needless to say, my first time with this hulky vibe was frustrating; I kept prodding at the buttons to figure out what they did and I had a hard time turning it off. I STILL don't know how to completely work this vibe, but you press down on both the arrows until the vibe shuts off in order to stop using it.

Red LED buttons light up to help you figure out what in the Sam Hill you're doing, which is helpful in the dark. I, however, found it extremely unnerving; it was like the red lights were signaling "WOMAN IS MASTURBATING IN HERE." Oh, wait, the incredibly loud sound would give it away before the lights would! I'd imagine only advanced (and incredibly patient) users would enjoy figuring out how to use it.

This vibrator takes 4 AA batteries. The batteries are a complete pain in the ass to insert because of the way the vibrator is designed to hold them. First, you have to start putting two in the way back of the control box, and then you must place them in vertically. Maybe it was just me, but it took me HALF AN HOUR to accomplish this. This vibe is also a battery hog. I have to remove the batteries in between uses, which really sucks seeing how hard it is to put them back in.

Jenna's Ultimate Stroker is NOT waterproof. Keep it out of the shower, tub, or away from any place with lots of water.

To be fair, this vibe is VERY powerful, especially the clit attachment. I actually really, really liked that part. The clit portion alone got me off rather quickly. The rotating beads and thrusting functions are nice, too, but the thrusting wasn't as powerful as I would have liked.

Care and Maintenance

Jelly isn't the easiest material to clean. The best way to clean this toy is to use a dollop of toy cleaner and rinse it off with some warm water. Be sure to use a small amount of water and don't let ANY water near the controls. You can wipe it off with a toy wipe right after use if you don't want to get up right then to clean it. However, be very, very sure to give it a really good cleaning with soap or toy cleaner before you use it next time.

It's compatible with water-based and silicone lubes. You definitely want lube with this toy; jelly rubber, when dry, is rather sticky and creates a lot of friction. Trying to insert this dry would be rather uncomfortable, maybe even painful.

Store this in a cool, dry place away from extreme heat/cold and sunlight.

Packaging

Jenna's Ultimate Stroker comes in a plastic, sealed packaging. It also comes with user instructions on how to insert batteries and care for the toy. The packaging is, in my opinion, not really suitable for a gift. You would be better off putting the packaged toy in a gift box or gift bag.

Personal comments

I'm going to be honest here; I'm thinking that I wasn't experienced enough to begin with when I ordered this toy. Maybe that's part of the reason why I found it so frustrating to use. That, or I'm impatient in general and don't like to take time to figure out how to work controls.

That being said, I really don't think this vibe was executed well. It's an excellent concept in theory. But, when you get down to using it, it's really heavy to manipulate on one's own and just really difficult to use overall. I would have liked it more had it not been made from jelly; that material just smells completely HORRIBLE! I like the concept, but this needs to be taken back to the drawing board.

Although I bought this on clearance for 60% off, I feel that it was a complete waste of my money. I really wish I could send it back and get a refund, but I just can't do that now that I've opened it up and used it.
Follow-up commentary
Although I still pull this out every once in a blue moon, I'm still not a fan. It's still heavy, loud, and smelly as ever. It's also still an incredible chore to manipulate it, change the batteries, and take it out and put it away. Still very much a bothersome, inconvenient toy. I've got a strong urge to get rid of it, and I probably will do so soon.
