This Dolphin Jumps Through Hoops!

The Hot Dolphin is a rabbit-style vibe, but not a rotating rabbit. It has a vibrating, instead of rotating, shaft and an attached clitoral stimulator. The entire toy runs on 2 AA batteries. It is multi-speed and is controlled by a simple dial at the base which operates both the shaft and stimulator vibrations.

Though the toy is multi-speed and has a motor in both the shaft and the clit stimulator, the speeds cannot be operated independently. The Hot Dolphin|Double power dolphin is quiet at lower settings, but can become quite loud at higher speeds. It says it is waterproof, and does have a rubber o-ring around the battery compartment, but I am always hesitant to submerge anything with a turn-dial control.

Though the toy is 7 1/2” in length, the insertable part of the shaft is about 5 ½ to 6”. It is composed of a hard plastic shaft with a bullet in the center, covered with a nubbed PVC sleeve with a tapered penis head. Because this is made of jelly, please cover it with a condom before use! The sleeve fits the plastic vibe rather loosely, so can tend to produce a rattling noise, especially at higher levels, which is responsible for good portion of the sounds this vibe emits. This, however, is not so noticeable during penetration. The dolphin-shaped clit stimulator is very powerful and quite effective, and has a cute little light at the base. The nose on the dolphin, in particular, is long enough for intense stimulation, but not so long as to be uncomfortable.

This toy could be easily used for thrusting, but I preferred to leave it in place to maintain constant contact with the clitoral stimulator. I do love rotating rabbits, but I must admit the internal vibrations from this one felt fantastic! I mostly used the toy hands-free once I found my perfect speed (I did not even have to turn it to the highest setting!), but placing a little extra pressure on the dolphin sent me over the edge very quickly and powerfully! The combination of internal and external vibrations from this toy was really quite amazing. I will definitely be using this again when I want something a little different from the traditional rabbit|Rabbit vibrators or desire internal and external vibration without having to use multiple toys!
