Title Says It All...

The Cute Baby Vibrator packs in just enough vibration to keep you from thinking you were gypped, but not enough to make you go "wow." The small size, however, makes it an extremely good party favor or part of a gift basket. In a nutshell, it's everything the name implies.
small size, easy to use, discreet, waterproof, easy to clean
loud, one setting, very simple and standard, not very intense vibration

The Cute Baby Vibrator is exactly what it sounds like. Itty-bitty, adorable, and not really all that interesting. It's fantastically easy to use, just twist it until it starts vibrating and continue twisting until it stops again. There's only one speed. While not super-fantastically-amazing, the vibration strength is actually pretty decent.

I, being female-bodied and having partners who are mostly what the vast majority of the country would consider 'female-bodied,' have not used it for much more than clitoral or vaginal vibrations. It is certainly not safe for anal, as it's flare is not nearly wide enough to stop it from being lost in the anal cavity, and no one wants that. It's pretty decent for clitoral use and even nipple stimulation if you're into that, but it doesn't do well with vaginal penetration since it's so short. You could sort of use it as a bigger-sized bullet and I have done so, but usually it's bit to big to sit comfortably with, so take that into consideration. I do not know how it would interact with a male body. It is also waterproof, so perfect for the shower, especially since it's easy to hide in a bathroom pocket or shower caddy if one needs to. The small size would also make it easy to carry in a purse/backpack and extremely easy to travel with. It's definitely my go-to vibrator when I travel.

However, perhaps the best use of this would be some sort of cute gift, either as part of a sex-positivity basket/gift bag (my college's sexuality group used to do it all the time) or a party favor at a 21st birthday or bachelor/bachelorette party or simply as a gag gift. It's so small and cheap that it makes a good addition to a basket, raffle, or gift collection or an excellent party favor. And it has the added bonus of not cheaping out your guests, since it is decently well-made, will last a while, and it's actually pretty versatile and packs in enough vibration to be worthwhile. The small size also makes it perfect for apartment/college dorm/nosey housemates.

Material / Texture

It's made out of hard plastic, nothing special there. Very smooth and definitely slippery when wet. I often have to wipe it off in order to turn it off, which is annoying, but not drastically terrible. Has a faint plastic smell, but nothing terrible. The material, however, is very safe since it's just plastic and it's a fine toy to share with partners as long as you wash it in between partners. It's also waterproof, which is handy.
    • Light odor
    • Not porous at all
    • Rigid

Design / Shape / Size

The design is pretty simple, a little bulbous, but mostly straight. The twist to turn on and off mechanism is not difficult to operate in theory but often in execution it takes a few tries for it to turn on or off. The size is very small, absolutely pocket sized, but not small enough to make it a waste of time. For something so small, it does pack enough of a punch to be worth it. However, unless you are buying it for it's tiny size (about 2.5" high and only .25" wide and maybe 1" around), it shouldn't be something you automatically choose. And please, dear god, do not buy it because it's name sounds cool. Besides the color (bright red or pink) it's pretty subtle and can easily be hidden just about anywhere. It travels extremely well too, so that's a definite plus.

Functions / Performance / Controls

Since there's only one speed, it's very easy to use. Just twist on and off. The vibration is more powerful than you would think for such a small vibe, but not really enough to wow me, though I do need a pretty strong vibration to get off, so for people who are sensitive they may have a better time with this vibrator. The vibrations emanate from the slightly bigger end, leaving the slightly smaller end for you to hold. It takes 1 AA battery and that battery lasts a decently long time, which is nice and (again) very handy for travel since it doesn't take strange watch batteries that you are unlikely to find in other places nor does it wear through batteries quickly. Unfortunately, however, cute baby is not so cute when she cries. It's quite loud. I usually muffled it under a pillow when in college, now noise isn't a problem, but still, be warned.
    • Easy to use
    • Not enough variety
    • Weak

Care and Maintenance

Cute Baby Vibe is SUPER easy to take care of. It's made with non-porous hard plastic and it's waterproof, so all you need to do is rub it down with a little hand soap or wipe it with a toy wipe and you're good to go! Completely safe to share among partners (with sterilizing in between). However, since it's plastic, you should not boil it, though you can pour a tiny bit of boiling water over it if you're in a foreign country to wash it, just don't soak it in boiling water.
