When this toy arrived, we were both excited to try it, so we tore open the nondescript package, revealing the box inside. The egg and remote were both nicely packaged in a smaller box, with directions (which you won't likely need). Both are made of smooth plastic but seem well-engineered without any obvious flaws. There is a small door on the back of the remote for a AAA battery, and the egg unscrews to insert two more AAA batteries. The threads on the egg did catch our eyes as they are super small, allowing for a tight, waterproof seal and a confident "it's closed" feel. The loop and cord are just long enough, but not too long as to have a long tail sticking out when inserted. The egg length itself is about 3", and the diameter is about 1 1/2", which seems to be about the right size to comfortably insert without worrying about anything falling out at an inopportune time. Just holding the egg and going through the different vibration settings, the egg seems to vibrate consistently, without any spot seeming to get too much or too little vibration. Also, there doesn't seem to be any odd clicking or rumbling that sometimes plastic vibrators seem to have.
