Studio collection Vibrating brush - discreet massager by The Screaming O - review by LeeBee

Unexpected and Unusual, but not disappointing.

It's a good product, but a little but pricey for what you're getting. If you have the money, by all means try it. I'd recommend it if you have a discount code or a gift card.

Besides the price, it's a pretty good little vibe that's a whole lot of fun to experiment and play with, and great for shared spaces or when you need to be discreet.
Great texture
multiple settings
very discreet
A little weak
a bit buzzy

extremely useful review

This is a good vibe to keep in your purse, or take with you in your travels, and because of that it's my favourite travel companion right now. It's best used on your clit- insertion would be rather difficult due to its shape, and could also easily be used on your nipples. If your main focus is clitoral stimulation, this would be a good toy for you. The soft "bristles" felt great against my clit. It was a feeling quite unlike any other toy I'd tried. The vibrations can be a bit buzzy, but overall they're fairly strong.

Material / Texture

The bristles of the brush are very soft and flexible with a silky feel. They don't pull or tug at all, even in hair. It had a bit of a rubbery factory smell that I wouldn't call unpleasant, but you might not like it personally. Luckily, it was faint and not at all overpowering. The soft material combined with the bumpy texture of the bristles are lovely to tease yourself with, and are very stimulating.

The handle of the brush is a hard plastic that is easy to grip and hold, very smooth. Some of the silver metalic paint on the handle has started to wear away, but overall it has stayed fairly well.

Design / Shape / Size

The brush is easy to hold and position, and the vibration control is easily accessed without having to get out of your groove. It fits perfectly in my hand, and in my makeup box. It's a good choice for someone with moderate experience with vibes who is looking to start branching out into more interesting vibrators.
Because the bristles are flexible and soft, it's comfortable to apply pressure wherever you need it. The center-most bristle is longer and thicker than the others, which I found useful when applied directly to my clit.
Not only that, but it's a perfect choice for traveling. At a glance, it looks like an ordinary makeup brush, so if someone were to see it in your purse or bag, it wouldn't raise much suspicion. It is also small enough to keep zipped up somewhere secret.

Functions / Performance / Controls

Its vibrations are fairly strong- not really the strongest I've had, but certainly not the weakest either- and it has four settings. The first three are just continuous vibrations at differing strengths, while the fourth is a pulse setting. The pulse setting cycles through a pattern of pulses and continuous vibration that sort of fades in and out. I found the first setting to be too weak for me personally, but someone who prefers less vibrations would find it perfect. The second and third settings were enough for me most days. The pulse setting was alright, but became too weak when it faded out.

For it's vibration power, it was a little louder than I'd like- I'm not a fan of too much of the buzzy noise, but it was bearable.

It was nice to be able to use it in the shower, however. The texture combined with the feeling of hot water was one that I'd certainly recommend to anyone and everyone. Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed.

Care and Maintenance

Because it is mostly plastic, you can use most lubes on it. It is recommended to use oil, silicon or water based.
Cleaning was easier than I would have expected. The bristles do, of course, take a little time to clean thoroughly, but they were soft enough to manipulate and clean pretty quickly. Clean it with soap and hot/warm water or an anti-bacterial toy cleaner right after use and you'll find the cleanup to be very simple. The handle is easier, of course, as you can wipe it clean.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

The toy came with batteries and extras in the packaging, which is a plus, but the packaging itself was not very discreet. The front is clear plastic, so the whole world can see it.
    • Minimal
    • Not discreet
Follow-up commentary
Over time, some of the red paint around the band has started to come off, and the glue holding the brush head onto the vibrator seems to be giving up a little. It's still quite usable, and I've not had any issues with lost of power or function, but some of the cosmetic appeal is lost. Overall, it still functions perfectly well, and I am quite pleased with it.
