Vroom royal - traditional vibrator discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by Purrsuasive

The Vroom Royal looked great on the web page, and in person it did not disappoint! I was initially very impressed with the texture; a very soft, velvety lavender rubber… I still rub my fingers along it to just to feel it. It creates a little bit of drag on skin (and in other places!) as a result, so most women (including myself) will probably want to use it with lubricant.

The twist-on battery cap was (for a change) well-designed, eliminating the need to align the battery and the contacts. The vibe is also very sturdy and very solid, and the waterproof seal between the end-cap and the main part of the dildo works very well. Trust me, this dildo is definitely waterproof; not that I doubted it from the look of it. I love getting a waterproof vibrator which actually looks and feels like it is waterproof.

In actual use, every setting was very nice in its own way. Some of them are very low, more suitable for beginners or those who like gentler vibes, but it has something for everyone. I definitely recommend this to someone who isn’t exactly sure what they’re looking for. The vibration runs entirely up and down the shaft, instead of focusing on one point, which is something I look for.

There are two buttons on the end, one for cycling through the nine functions (three intensities and six cycling/pulsing functions) and one for turning the vibrator on and off, so you can preset it to your favorite setting and turn it one when ready. The buttons are a little hard to push, but that’s off-set by the ease of gripping the vibe; I could change settings easily with one hand.

In short: I love this vibrator! Every possible flaw is so offset by another feature of the item, and it’s pretty to look at on top of all that. It’s also very easy to clean, having a very smooth surface; although since it is rubber, a toy cleaner is probably a good idea.

I have loved this vibrator for the past several months, however after medium-to-heavy use the motor is now dying! I am extremely disappointed. All vibrators wear out eventually, however the predecessor (in my affections) of this one lasted almost two years, instead of a paltry six months or so. And, the controller broke as opposed to the motor. This one is fading fast, alas.
