The Intruder Slim looks great on paper. Six inches of insertable length and a one inch diameter set it up as a perfect starter vibrator for a sex toy beginner. It's long but thin, has a multi-speed dial to control vibrations, and is made of plastic, so it's super easy to clean. All of these are positives, but the vibrator itself is not what I was hoping for.

The vibrator physically looks good. The gold is a nice touch, and the plastic solid. It feels a bit light and a tad flimsy, as if by squeezing it too much, you could break it. With batteries it feels a bit better, but I still felt as if I had to be careful with it. A quick wash later and I was ready to go. I used a silicone-based lube because that's what I had lying around, but both oil and water-based lubes work with plastic too.

The vibrations are concentrated at the tip, so it's good for a bit of foreplay or direct contact with your clitoris or nipples. Unfortunately, the vibrations don't travel very well up the toy; while this is true for most vibes of this type, I found this one to be rather noticeable. If it's not the gold part, you probably won't feel much of anything, even at the highest vibration level. It's fine if you're using it directly on your clitoris, but it's a bit frustrating when you insert it. I found that I had to use a second clitoral vibrator to get off when I inserted the Intruder Slim, which was a bit disappointing. My original intent for buying the Intruder Slim was to have a long, easily inserted vibrator to get me off, but it didn't quite live up to that expectation.

Overall, it is a good vibrator for direct contact. For the price, it is pretty good as a nipple or clitoral stimulator, though it would probably be a bit uncomfortable to hold while using another penetrating toy, since it is so long. It's very easy to clean and keep, which is another plus, but if you insert it, don't expect mind-blowing orgasms.
