Thank you for this. I can totally relate to this as a mother of two children. My eldest child, 17 years old, believes that I’m within the many shades of asexuality. I’ve looked into it and can see myself, at this time for things change, within certain shades of it. I enjoy my fantasies much more than reality.

The way I see how people feel the need to label others' sexuality is kind of like those boxes they give children with the different shaped holes to put blocks in. They see there are square shaped holes and circle holes and they think that everyone must fit into these 2 categories. Unfortunately for them, life is not that uncomplicated.
