Not So Njoyable
One is hard pressed to find a negative review of the Pure Wand amongst the countless positive ones posted thus far. However, in my girlfriend and I's situation, the Pure Wand did not stand up to the hype. It did an OK job of stimulating her G-Spot after we learned how to use it, but not after some painful trial and error. Luckily, when used with a vibrator it did give her some unique sensations that pulled it from being a total bust, but as a whole, the Pure Wand seems unworthy of the high cost.Published: November 27, 2009
Pros:
Steel makes for easy care, curved for good G-spot stim, double ended for multiple sized heads.
Cons:
Not suited for thrusting, large end may be too large for some.

Will the Pure Wand REALLY make me squirt?
-
I've been eyeing this toy for a very, VERY long time.
I've read many reviews saying that it will make you squirt, even if you haven't squirted ever before in your life (which I don't think I have).
Would it REALLY make me squirt? That's the whole reason I want it!
Would it be worth it to make the purchase? -
Like you, I read that it works for a lot of people, so I bought it based on the good reviews. It hasn't really done much for me though. I was actually kind of disappointed with it in general. Hopefully, I'm in the minority.
-
It hasn't done it for me yet - but I believe I've come the closest with my Pure Wand.
I just need to learn to relax and take my time.
Even though I haven't squirted yet, I love it!

Which of the Njoys do you love
-
Which of the Njoy product line do you love the most? Anyone here with experience with them? I would love to hear.

Quote: Which of the Njoy product line do you love the most? Anyone here with experience with them? I would love to hear.I have three Njoy toys; The Eleven, the Pfun and the Pure Wand (links to my reviews)
The Pfun is the easiest to use, and feels great. I would caution against this being a first time toy though. It is hard and can easily cause some pain if you do not know your rectum.
The Pure Wand has a BIG learning curve but the small end is good if you are just starting out.
The Eleven, well, lets just say it is for the very experienced. It is large and will take charge.
The Pure Plugs look really good and always get great reviews. Those come in small, medium, large and the 2.0 which is like extra large.
Something to think about, Stainless is hard. As such great care needs to be used when using these toys. Yes, they can be fun and very stimulating but they can bruise very easily. I would not recommend them for a beginner.
Hope that helps. :) -
We have the PFun and the Pure Wand. My husband really likes the PFun; his only complaint being, it comes out during sex, as well as orgasm. He also loves to use the Wand on me, and I do so enjoy that. I prefer the Pure Wand (both ends) for anal play over vaginal play, but I have never been all that crazy about G-Spotting anyway.
Stainless is unforgiving. It can hurt, as Tim stated above, if you are over-eager. Do use caution and play gently until you get used to them.
We love the heat retention steel provides and their weightiness. There is something about not only feeling full, but heavy too. Anyway, we also like that we don't have to reapply lube very often because they are really slick all on their own.
We are hoping to purchase the Large plug soon. (We are on the fence about if we should get the large or the 2.0) ***Edited 2 hours later...bought the nJoy large plug tonight!***
The Eleven is certainly on my wishlist, and will be mine one day...when I have enough points (if I would stop spending them, it would be easier!)

Pure Wand
-
Is it just me or are other people confused as to why the Pure Wand is classified as an anal toy? Everything I hear about it being good for g-spot and p-spot stimulation, but why does that make it an anal toy?
I think classifying it as an anal toy might turn off some folks that don't like anal toys.
Anyone else ever notice that? -
I think it was originally designed for men and us ladies fell in love with it. I use it for both anal and g-spot but I do tend to refer to it as a dildo though. I actually passed it up originally but then bought it on a whim. Best purchase I ever made. Hopefully people will look beyond any classification and read the reviews on it.
-
No confusion here. Most p-spot toys work well as g-spot toys and vice versa. I personally love it for anal, more than vaginal usage. If you read the first sentence of the description it clearly states it is for both. My only wish is that EF would list it in both categories.

Temperature Play...
-
I've never really done temperature play with steel... To all of you who have more experience with this, how long does it retain its coldness once you start playing with it?
Do you generally keep cold water/a freezer (!) nearby to cool it down periodically?
Any other advice? -
only tried in once, I left it in for 20 minutes, could have been colder though and I only put it in once, but i would recomend keeping a cooler near by if you want to keep going with it cold.
-
I'd suggest a bowl of ice water, or the cooler can work too. I don't have much experience with playing with cold with a steel toy, but a bowl of ice water will definitely be able to chill your toy back down as often as you want it to. :)

Real Size Images

Is there a reason that some toys have the 1:1 ratios sized images and others don't?
I'm trying to compare the pure wand with the Eleven and whilst there is a full sized image available for the eleven it doesn't appear that there is one for the fun wand.
Also if anyone has seen a video comparing the two toys please let me know as I would love to see it. thanx :) -

Can the Pure Wand do it if penetration usually doesn't?
-
The reviews for the Pure Wand are overwhelmly positive. It sounds like almost everyone can climax with it. I'm wondering if there are women who don't usually climax with vaginal sex who can climax with the Pure Wand inside them? Or, for women who do climax during vaginal penetration, is it easier with the Pure Wand?

Thanks for asking this question, I'm curious now as well!

It's extremely stimulating, due to many things, and while it is among my great favorite toys, and it does make me come like a wild monkey, I can't come *just* from it. It does, however, add astounding depth to my orgasms.

Thank you for viewing Pure wand – sex toy review page!

Wow. I never thought I'd see a review from someone who didn't love this toy to death.
Thanks for the review
I am just as shocked as Laurel...wow. But I must say, I have a tendency to find sex to be painful with heavy thrusting because of female issues, so I am glad there is a review that says that it can be painful.
Your review is very likely to help someone like me make a more informed and less prejudice decision.
As a lover of the Pure Wand, I offer the following: It absolutely doesn't work for me with my partner being the driver, it is too intense and no way can my b/f "feel" the subtleties of my vagina when he is the driver. By myself, I think it is awesome....it not only gets me there every time, I am a g spot girl, but I frequently ejaculate using the Pure Wand. It did take some practice for me to develop my rhythm with this toy.
Also for anal play, no way will the Pure Wand be sucked in. It does provide decent anal stim for me and my b/f loves to use it to work his p spot with great satisfaction.
Adriana and I were similarly underwhelmed if you read our reviews. Its possible to get off with it but its just so awkward, unwieldy and slippery and its hard to find the right rhythm. Even when you do succeed, its less intense than with so many other toys.
I'm with you YL.
While I can see it being too intense for some, were you the one thrusting with it or was she? I won't allow my partner near it because the Pure Wand is something that needs to be used by someone who can feel what is going on. If someone else is doing it, they may thrust too hard and it would hurt.
Just a word of advice. Also, the thrusts should be done shallowly rather than thrusting in deeper. Since the toy naturally settles on the g-spot it doesn't need to be pushed into it much at all.
A big thank you to everyone for all the comments. We will continue to play with the Pure Wand and try to make the best of it. Hopefully when I post a follow-up review we will have seen the light and have good things to report.
Saraid and Liz2, to answer your questions, yes I was the one doing the thrusting/"driving", though when I did it was on the slow and methodical side rather than just jabbing it in and out. I'll make sure she reads both of your comments and gives your suggestions a try.
I find the thrusting also somewhat difficult, but the wiggling is very fun!
I had a hard time writing my review for this as well. It's well made and I can see how it would work very well for me but no matter how gentle I tried to be, the Pure wand usually resulted in some discomfort or pain. Plus, the curve actually worked against my anatomy (shallow G-spot). If she likes thrusting, I might suggest the Ella - not from personal experience but many love it.
I am struggling with a g-spot toy right now bcs of my anatomy. Wiggling seems to be the best thing for me too. I have always wondered about this toy. I know in the end it probably wouldnt work that well for me since my g-spot sort of hides really well behind my pubic bone, the toy would be really painful for me to use. Thanks for the review. Its nice to get a different perspective of a toy usually well loved. I guess you will grow to love it the more you find different ways of using it. You'll find your rhythm as they say
.
Nice review~
Thank you for the thorough review. I am currently awaiting delivery of the Pure Wand. I had held it while browsing at a local shop and I couldn't help but just stand there and gape in amazement at the extreme weight and sheer size of it; I was quite skeptical that it could deliver anything but pain, let alone pleasure. Yet the avalanche of rave reviews on this toy tempted me to give it a try. Unfortunately, none of us know which toys will send us into our own personal Nirvana unless we take it for a test drive. And I can't help but have hope that we can find new ways to make a toy "work" for us. Especially when that toy costs $108!
Great review!
Thanks for the review and those who commented. It has helped me decide about this toy.
We have a glass piece that is curved like the Pure Wand & has the large & smaller balls & the curve makes it really a solo toy, unless the other has watched & understood what to do with it.
Thanks for the honest review! Sorry you didn't enjoy this, but you are right, it doesn't seem like a good toy for thrusting - too hard and an extreme curve. Good to know that it transfers vibrations nicely.
Thank you for the review!
