Tentacle - dildo by Whipspider rubberworks - review by Dame Demi

It is… a tentacle. It is only my second non-vibrating toy and it is a tentacle. A lovely tentacle, to be sure--pearlescent blue, purple, and green swirls with a glow-in-the-dark swirl throughout the front of the toy. It is gracefully curved and stands up nicely on its own. It is also a rather large tentacle--tapered nicely toward the top, but becoming unmanageably thick toward the base. But, it is a tentacle.

Let us examine the plusses of using a fake tentacle for fucking yourself. It is, as I mentioned, nicely tapered and curved, just perfect for hitting the g-spot (though I found it grew very thick very quickly and was not able to use it for vigorous thrusting). It is also quite wonderfully textured, with little “suckers” molded into the front of the shaft that feel quite divine. The back of the shaft is smooth, so you can use the various textures on the front wall, back wall, or sides of the vagina.

The Tentacle is 100% silicone, and is thus able to be sterilized by boiling, running through the dishwasher (top rack, no soap), or cleaning with a 10% bleach solution. I would recommend taking special care with day-to-day cleaning, though, because of the highly textured surface--make sure you have any lube or fluids cleaned out of the sucker holes! The silicone of this dildo is luxuriously soft and flexible, and bends nicely to your body’s shape.

The Tentacle has a wide base, but I doubt it is harness compatible because of the odd shape and its width. It should be safe for anal play, but I would definitely not recommend this one to the beginner, unless you are just going to use the tip for teasing and shallow insertion.

Without a doubt, I can say the Tentacle by Whipspider Rubberworks is the most unique sex toy I own, and is definitely not unpleasant to use. It is also quite a lovely toy, and nobody who saw it on your nightstand would likely ever even consider it is a sex toy--it is more like a piece of art!
