Sharing can be Fun
The Share's name fits it perfectly and my wife and I get the most enjoyment from our toys when we can Share them at the same time! This toy has now replaced our Feeldoe slim as the favorite one in the tool box! Every night after I've satisfied her first we get our the SHARE and do just that. I think I've created a monster because she wants it just as much as I do! This is truly a toy where giving can be just as fun as receiving!Published: January 16, 2009
Pros:
Nice design keeps it in place. Silicone for safe and easy cleanup. High Quality
Cons:
Size at first glance
My first impression of the Share dildo from Fun Factory was that thing is huge. Just the weight alone at 1.5lbs lets you know its bigger than some of the others out there. The long curved shaft of smooth purple silicone is topped with a nice head for added stimulation. At 9" in length its right sized for most play but is just a little short for getting it from behind. The 1 3/4" size isn't going to be for everyone but work your way up and you'll be just fine. Compared to the Feeldoe slim it looks massive so you'll want to be sure the size is right before you drop over $100 on this Dildo.
The Share's bulbous end for the giver is much larger and its curved shape does a better job than others. My wife loves how it fills her up which adds to the sensation to the ride. We've found that this one stays put much better than the Feeldoe. We have no trouble with it slipping out with me on top but if she gets too vigorous when she's behind me she will put a nice double strap harness on. The flat spot at the base of the receivers end puts just the right amount of pressure on my wife's clitoris while she thrusts away.
The Share also doubles as a nice dildo with the bulb used as a handle for great control. The realistic head adds to the stimulation and the curve helps with hitting the g spot. Always remember to sanitize prior to changing uses!!! A small amount of water based lube does well with the smooth silicone texture. This toy keeps us coming back for more.
Again if you can handle the size this double dildo is better designed than the Feeldoe and well worth the money!

This still seems to be our favorite to use when the wife wants to be in charge. It has held up well, and is a very well done double dildo that you will not regret having in your toy box!

Strapless dildos

Are strapless dildos hard to use for beginners?
-
I've never tried one myself, but I've heard they have a bit of a learning curve and you need strong kegels to use them properly. I've also heard, however, that they will work with a harness if you need extra stability.
-
It really seems like they're hard to use period. I don't know of anyone who regularly uses them without a harness (though I'd love to hear from someone who does).

Share vs. Feeldoe
-
forkehHow do these two products compare? Which one works better in and out of a harness?
Thank you. -
Quote: How do these two products compare? Which one works better in and out of a harness? They both work well in a harness. Share is a little bouncier and thicker and jucier and Feeldoe is much firmer. I find them both easy to use with no harness, although I find Nexus JR the easiest to retain. Out of all the double dildoes I have tried (all 4 Feeldoes, both Shares, Tango, and the three Nexus sizes, I find Tango the hardest to hold with my muscles followed by Nexus Maximus (weighs a ton) and Share XL (weighs like a brick and is floppy) . I'm a driver. It matters a bit less if you are a pillow princess.
Thank you. -
I have the Feeldoe(slim) and the Tango and have used the Share. I agree with Kuuipogal. But for me they all pop out just prior to orgasm despite strong Kegels but the "look" w/o a harness is awesome.
I am a hard and vigorous driver so a harness for me has been the solution. I have the Aslan Jaguar and the Spare Parts both super.

Strap-onless strap-ons
-
I love when my girlfriend ties me down and dominates me but we haven't given much thought to strap-ons. Are the strapless ones as good as the strap-ons?
-
A starp-on harness is a good initial investment because it can be used with a variety of toys including strapless ones (if desired).
The strapless ones seem to be pretty good, though depending on who you talk to. The Share line and the feeldoe line seem to get good marks from most and present the best chance that they can be used completely without a harness. The Nexus line would probably be somewhat more difficult for the giver to hold inside without a harness. I think the harness option might be better for versatility, but the Share might represent an excellent choice for you and your girlfriend as well. -

Are the strapless ones as good as the strap-ons?Personally, I would say no... just because they're harder to navigate. Certainly possible, and you can add a harness to get more stability while keeping the internal stimulation. There are also some harnesses that will hold a cock inside the wearer as well, so you have more options.
I'd agree with Jimbo that either the Share or Feeldoe is your best bet for doubles like this, the Nexus just doesn't cut it.

Thank you for viewing Share – dildo review page!

Interesting review R&W, we're still in the market and you've definitely given us more points to consider!
It is definitely a good idea to clean your toy in between uses as you suggested, but if you are sharing this toy with your partner, you should also be using a condom for safety.
Did you ever think to use this differently? Perhaps have your partner use the upwards part as a handle for faster thrusting?
Lauren - yes we have used it both ways as a dildo - Using the short end as a handle works quite well giving better control for faster thrusting. We've also found that for my wife with the short end inside her, using the cock end as a handle as if jacking her off can be quite enjoyable as well. Good point - I forgot about that one!
Lauren - I should have added to the above comment. When my wife sits down in front of me seated between my legs facing away from me, I can massage her breast and grasp the long end of the share from behind her. Reaching around from behind forces the flat spot at the base of the cock against her clitoris. Just the right pressure on the outside with the fullness and movement of the smaller end inside her can be quite delicious. One hand on the dildo and the other squeezing her nipple makes her very happy!
Sounds like you really had fun with this one! Remember that 100% silicone is a fantastic non porous material so, it can be sterilized by boiling it or wiping it down with a 10% bleach solution followed by a good rinse!
I have gone through the original FeelDoe and me and my partner both found that it was maybe a bit too ... hard...so we changed to the Nexus. The Nexus is much much more flexible and the clitoral stimulation with the flat end makes me go absolutely WILD! BUT... its design doesn't stay well inside the wearer and I have to wear a harness which I am not a big fan of. So, my question is: How do the Share and the FeelDoe compare on Flexibility and Firmness??
I found the share a bit softer and more flexible than the feeldoe. My wife is definitely stimulated more by the Share's wider base so I think it would compare better to the Nexus on that point. Hope this helps!
Have you tried this solo and has your wife tried it solo? Thank you for comparing it to the Feeldoe. I currently have that toy, but really want a Share now! I like the sound of the silicone being softer than the Feeldoe, also that it has a longer shaft would make for more positions.
Yes and No, My wife has used it solo (if you count me watching her as solo). She uses the shaft end as a handle with the bulb inside her which gives her a large amount of control as well as quite a thrill! I really enjoy "sharing" more than I do solo play so I can't really give you any pointers with this one. The share has allowed our feeldoe to stay in the toolbox a lot more than before. Hope this helps!
This one just keeps me smiling night after night!
Good review
Hope to try this one day. Thanks for the review!
