Holy G-Ki! Je Joue rocks the G Spot!

Truly fabulous experience all the way around, from opening the box to clean up afterward. The G-Ki is simply amazing and the best G spot vibrator I have ever used. It is definitely worth the money.

Use

The G-Ki by Je Joue is a fantastic G Spot vibrator but also is a wonderful clitoral vibe and would probably work great on the taint or perhaps P-Spot, but he will get this away from me when he pries it from my cold dead hand! This baby is mine!

Seriously, though, the vibrations are strong and deep; you could use it on your nipples, labia...it feels good no matter where you put it, but the magic happens inside.

Material / Texture

The G-Ki is a silky smooth silicone over a very firm plastic base. It is super soft to the touch and feels absolutely wonderful anywhere you put it. There is a little drag, as with all silicone toys, but a bit of water based lube fixes that. This is really the first toy that I really paid attention to the texture while using; it is super soft and feels very nice around my clit and in external play. Internally, I guess I am not sensitive enough to this type of texture to notice much difference, other than needing lube.

I would say this texture is good for anyone; it is not at all aggressive. It had a slight scent straight out of the box, but washing helped, and I did not notice a taste at all.

Design / Shape / Size

The awesome thing about the G-Ki is that it can change shape, and those changes are locked into position. It has two different places where you can adjust the curve of the toy, almost turning it into a C shape if you adjust both places. The design is absolutely fantastic and very high quality. Unlike other toys that would bend, those did not hold the shape and became frustrating during play, but the G-Ki locks in once set and will not change the shape unless you press the buttons to unlock it.

Because of this adjust ability, you can adjust the shape to the angle you need to reach your G-Spot and stimulate your clitoris at the same time!

The size is about average; in fact, I would love it if they made a couple of different sizes with this same design. Especially one a little larger.

While the toy does not look like a giant cock, I think it is easy to deduce that it is a sex toy, and it is not small enough to stash in your handbag, so I would not say it is really discreet. I don't care if it is or not, though; if I travel it is coming with me!

I think it would be great for beginners as well as more advanced users.

Did I mention the color? The purple is just beautiful; I love the shade. I am thinking of taking it down to the paint store to have the color match done on it! Just kidding! But seriously, the purple is absolutely gorgeous.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The G-Ki has vibrations in two places on the toy, near the handle and in the end. The vibrations are amazing; even the low setting is a strong vibration that is not at all buzzy. It has 5 levels of vibration and 5 patterns, all of which are wonderful. I start at 1 and just work my way through them. I don't think I have made it through all 10 vibrations before getting off, though I did play with it and check them out before playing and love them all.

You change the vibrations via two buttons on the handle of the G-Ki. You do have to press these little buttons firmly, and during play I had to work a little to find the buttons and press them firmly enough to get the vibration to change. I think this is just a learning curve thing, though. The first time was the most difficult, but since then I have gotten better at changing the settings during play. Oh, when your hand is covered in lube it is even more difficult to get a good press on the buttons. This is no where near a deal breaker for me on this toy, though. The benefits far outweigh this little issue.

The G-Ki is pretty quiet; under the blankets I can not hear it. I doubt anyone else in the room would notice the noise, and definitely not through a closed door.

The G-Ki is water proof, and this is a good thing when it comes to clean up. I tried washing it with out getting the controls wet and just could not do it and make sure the entire thing got clean. So the waterproof feature is very useful. I have not tried it in the shower or the tub. I recommend trying it lying down first. I would hate for you to fall during an orgasm and get a concussion; it would ruin the experience.

Care and Maintenance

The G- Ki is a silicone covered toy, so it can be washed with antibacterial toy cleaner and water. I understand you can also use a weak bleach solution to sterilize silicone. I am not sure about boiling the G Ki, as the control area has a hard plastic cover.

Remember, with silicone toys you have to use water based lubricants. Silicone lubricants can degrade the toy. Also do not store it with other silicone toys for the same reason. This is one toy you will really want to take good care of.

Storage is easy, especially in the beautiful box that Je Joue provides. It has room to store the charging cable, the documentation, as well as the G-Ki.

The G-Ki is rechargeable, too! It has a magnetic charging connector that just attaches to the control buttons. You will know when you have it on correctly as a little light comes on.

Packaging

Je Joue's packaging is beautiful and classy. I always feel very special when opening any Je Joue product, and the G-Ki packaging is no exception. The G-Ki comes in a thick pasteboard box that is black on the outside with only the manufacturer name on the top. It is tied closed with a lovely black ribbon. Inside is a formed plastic tray that holds the G-Ki, and beneath the tray is room for the charger and the manual.

Any woman would feel special receiving this toy as a gift. It is classy and discreet and gives the impression of opulence.

Personal comments

I am extremely impressed with the G-Ki; OK, that sounds uptight. I am in love with this toy. While it does take a while to work up to an orgasm with it, I personally like to take my time, anyway, and the orgasms I get from the G-Ki are wet and extreme. I was not prepared for this and ended up having to change the sheets so I would not have to sleep in a soaked bed. If you are looking for a toy to make you squirt, this one did it for me, repeatedly.

Additionally, I do not like super flexible toys, and the G-Ki is not flexible at all. But this is a good thing, as it allows me to put pressure on my G spot when the toy is inside me. It is also strong enough to handle thrusting: another bonus.

Experience

Every experience I have had with the G-Ki has been amazing. It is easy to play with solo, but I also think it would be a fantastic toy for couples. Every time I have used it I have gotten off, and I do not have to use a separate toy for clitoral stimulation! I absolutely am in love with this toy!

tigerkate and wetone, this is the strongest vibrator I have ever owned, so perhaps there are stronger ones out there and I just have not tried them. I am not super sensitive to vibrations though, in fact pretty much the opposite.

    • is this hard enough to hold its shape?
    • I actually got a look at this in a sex shop the other day, and it seems like you have to hold a special button located at the joints to get it to bend. Otherwise it keeps its shape.

      For future reference, questions like this are often answered in the many wonderful reviews written by folks here. (confetti) Those are usually your best bet for finding in-depth information about a toy.

  • Has anybody besides me had problems with the G-ki battery not holding a charge?
    • Hi everyone,

      I've had my G-Ki about 6 months now. I haven't used it very much because I'm having the following problem: I charge it up, use it for maybe 15-20 minutes, then put it away in the drawer...and when I go back to use it maybe three or 4 days later the battery is Dead With A Capital D and I have to charge it all over. I'm sure I'm turning it off completely after use. Compare to my Fun Factory g4 rechargeable vibes, which seem to last for hours of use over several months on a single charge, or my Lelo ones, it feels like I'm doing a lot of charging with this toy! So I thought I'd ask any other G-Ki owners out there if 15-20 minutes of use is normal for this toy? Or do I somehow have a defective one?
    • Try draining the battery all the way dead, then fully charge it. Sometimes batteries get what's known as a memory. It's worth a shot

  • The G-Ki...Flexibility/Mas sage?
    • Has anyone used this as a massager for all over body? Because of the bendable feature to it, Im wondering if this could be bent a certain way to use as a general body massager for neck/shoulders etc. Anyone used it in this manner?

So I wouldn't buy it *just* for my neck or shoulders. I'd get something bigger and firmer, like the Ideal, for that.

      I do quite like running it lightly over the soles of my feet, though!

    • I'm not very well informed on the evolution of vibrators from old school to new school but turn dial straight vibes don't scream old school to me, they scream cheap! When I think of old school sex toys it's more Hitachi or traditional phallic dildos. Either way I think new school vibrators and toys are awesome just because the shapes and features are dictated by function, stimulation and performance. That's more exciting than a hyper-realistic replica of a penis... though that has its own appeal.

    • It makes this odd popping noise when you change the settings. Mine hasn't broken or anything, but I'm very careful when I change settings because the popping noise concerns me. I've never had it get stuck on a setting. It changes really easily.

      As long as you make sure you're fully compressing the buttons to release the joints (and not muscling it from one position to another), it's a really sturdy toy.

    • I have both but there may be something wrong with my Mimi becuase, to me, it's incredibly weak and buzzy. The G-ki is definitely stronger and a little deeper..
    • I haven't made my Mimi review yet, but in my opinion it's a mix-breed between buzzy and rumbly. If I use it for too long of a period it's buzzy, but I tend to get off before that happens so I don't know. Your response was helpful stronger and deeper is good since I can adjust the settings to where I like. I'll have to see, but I think I'm leaning toward saving for it as my next big purchase.
