Liquid silk review

This lube feels like pure slick pleasure on your skin and holds up well for anal play. Lube up all your holes expect for your mouth! The taste is awful, but otherwise it fantastic.

extremely useful review
I always have a good time with Liquid Silk. It is the perfect creamy medium texture that is easy to spread without being too drippy. A little bit goes a long way and it is really long lasting. It is so lightweight you won’t notice it on your skin. It’s like a nice lotion. You will just feel smooth and slick. This stuff feels better than the body’s natural lubrication! It lasts for a long time without drying up or changing texture.

Liquid Silk cleans up easily off the body and off toys. It is water based, so it is safe to use with latex and on all your on toys. It seems to absorb well into the skin, so you won’t be a wet sticky mess after sex. Since it doesn’t drip all over I haven’t had the chance to test how well it washes out of clothing. It doesn’t seem to have much of a scent, but it tastes awful. Apply it after oral sex so that you don’t get a mouthful of the strange taste.

This lube works perfectly for anal play. The texture is thick enough for a good anal fucking (believe me!) and long lasting. My girlfriend must have been fucking my ass for a good ten minutes, and I probably could have gone longer. You don’t need much to begin with and you’ll get a good ride out of this lube before you need to apply more.

The pump makes this lube easy to use. I like the pump because I don’t have to worry about accidentally contaminating my lube with body fluids on my hands. It dispenses the perfect amount of lube right where you want it. The lube won’t spill out if you accidentally knock the bottle over!

This is a glycerin free lube, so you won’t get that stinging sensation. It does contain parabens, if you’re concerned about the chemicals in your body products.

  • Liquid Silk and Silicone Toys
    • So, while looking through highly rated water based lubes, I came across Liquid Silk. Aside from the bitter taste, no one seems to have any complaints.

However, I noticed that the fourth ingredient is Dimethicone - and I was wondering what everyone's experience with this and silicone sex toys was? Is the silicone in Liquid Silk a small enough portion that it has no effect on toys, or is it generally not recommended for that type of play?

Or does the bonding potential of silicone lubes have more to do with the type/quality of silicone than anything else?
    • That's a really good question because Dimethicone is a silicone.

Basically it should be ok to use as long as the toy is made of medical grade silicone. There should, in theory, be no reaction. I, personally, wouldn't want to test that out on my own toys though. You can do a patch test on a small part of the toy. The reaction should be immediate if there is going to be one.

      Anyone else know about this?
    • I have had liquid silk react to a silicone toy. Which sucks because I love it. :(
